Patrick Christys was on the receiving end of some rather playful scrutiny on Wednesday when GB News fans spotted something humorously “off” about the popular presenter’s appearance.
It all began when one viewer took to X where they posted a photo of Patrick presenting Patrick Christys Tonight and pointed out his hairstyle.
“No really, wondering what is going on with @PatrickChristys hair tonight, colour and styling is well off,” the confused fan wrote.
They then called on Patrick’s wife, Emily Carver, to weigh in.

The post sparked a flurry of humorous and supportive comments, including one from Emily herself.
“Regardless of hair, which doesn’t matter in the slightest, he is a fantastic presenter and a genuine patriot,” one fan posted.
Another joked: “We thought it was a tribute to all the 2020 lockdown haircuts when we saw it last night.”

The original poster then replied with “behind every good man”, applauding Emily for encouraging the trim.
“I only said to hubby last night that he’s due a haircut,” one fan added, while another commented: “Lol. You two are very cute together.”

The light-hearted exchange comes just weeks after Emily made her highly anticipated return to the GB News sofa to cover Michael Portillo’s Sunday show while still on maternity leave.
Opening the programme, she told viewers: “It is an absolute pleasure to be back. Thank you for all your kind messages. I've received quite a few.
“I’m not quite finished with maternity leave yet, but I have been getting withdrawal symptoms from being away from GB News viewers and listeners for so long. But what a day to come back, eh? So much news going around!”
Emily has been off screens since she and Patrick welcomed their first child together in September 2025.

Last week, Patrick posted a photo holding baby George up to the television while Emily appeared on screen, captioning it: “What’s Mum doing on the telly?!”
The presenting duo also enjoyed some adult time alone on Valentine’s Day, with Patrick treating Emily to a meal at The Connaught in Mayfair.
