David Beckham, 50, shared a heartfelt message to his children on Sunday, telling them, “I will always be there, no matter what,” in an emotional Father's Day post.
The post comes as the former footballer and his wife Victoria are said to be in the midst of a growing rift with Brooklyn, 26, and his actress wife Nicola Peltz, who were notably absent from all of David’s recent 50th birthday celebrations.
In a poignant Instagram tribute, David posted a variety of sweet family photos, featuring Victoria and their four children -Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
Subtly reaching out to his eldest son, David reaffirmed his unconditional love and support.
He wrote: “My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad... I'm so proud of all of you and like daddy (sorry boys) tells you every single day I will always be here for you, no matter what.
“Mummy, thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father—there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad... Happy Father’s Day... I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.”
Cruz responded warmly, writing: “You mean the world to us and inspire us every single day, dad. I love you,” while Romeo added, “Love you always.”
Victoria Beckham, 51, also marked the occasion with a loving tribute to David, which included multiple photos of Brooklyn - despite his recent silence over his father’s knighthood.
