David Beckham has appeared in public today amid the fallout of son Brooklyn's explosive social media claims against him and wife Victoria.
The father-of-four appeared in good spirits but seemed slightly weary as he chatted at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday following what is bound to have been a long night.
Sir David, 50, posed for photos and joined a podcast interview on Radio Davos with science author Adam Grant in a discussion about "resilience, failure, regret and disappointment".
It came just hours after Brooklyn finally broke his silence directly about the rift with his family, with the 26-year-old having posted a six-page statement with scathing claims about his family.

In the brutal and public outburst, Brooklyn claimed he had been "controlled" by his family and that they care only about the "Beckham brand".
Hitting back at his brother Cruz's claims that he had "blocked" the whole family on social media, he alleged that he was not the instigator of the snub, instead claiming that his siblings were encouraged to attack him online before cutting him off themselves.
The eldest Beckham brother also detailed how his fashion designer mother, Victoria, had cancelled making Nicola's wedding dress at the last minute, and claimed his wedding had been ruined by his mother's behaviour.
"My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance, to a romantic love song," he penned.

The claim continued: "In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me.
"She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.
"I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.
"We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment."

While he had plastered a smile on his face, Sir David seemed far from his worry-free self during his public appearance.
He refused to answer a question from Sky about whether he had a message for his son and if he was disappointed about the public nature the rift had taken, not responding to the prompt.
Brooklyn also said in his Instagram Story announcement that distancing himself from his family has lifted years of anxiety.
He went on to insist that claims that his wife controls him are “completely backwards”.
Brooklyn and Nicola have been distancing themselves from the Beckhams for some time | GETTY“I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life,” he wrote.
He continued: "The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
"Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade.
"But I believe the truth always comes out."
