The ongoing feud between the Beckham family and their eldest son, Brooklyn, appears to be intensifying, with Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz notably absent from David Beckham's recent 50th birthday celebrations.
The high-profile rift has seen the couple miss multiple family gatherings, including the star-studded birthday bash attended by A-list names like Tom Cruise and Guy Ritchie.
All of Brooklyn's siblings - Romeo, Cruz and Harper - turned out to celebrate with their parents, but Brooklyn and Nicola were nowhere to be seen, with it being understood that the couple had initially planned to attend but cancelled at short notice, further deepening the family divide.
Amid the family tensions, Nicola has been sharing loving posts about her husband on social media and on Wednesday, she posted snapshots from a cosy picnic date with Brooklyn on her Instagram Stories, showing off a spread of Indian food and an image of Brooklyn relaxing on the grass.
The 30-year-old actress captioned the post with a heartfelt message: "@brooklynpeltzbeckham I love you so much baby."
The public display of affection comes as the couple appears to be brushing off the ongoing drama with the Beckham family, choosing instead to focus on their relationship.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
The feud reportedly began when Nicola opted to wear a Versace bridal gown instead of one of Victoria's designs for her wedding to Brooklyn three years ago.
While the pair had seemingly squashed these rumours and shown support for each other, relations have since deteriorated, with the young couple going on to miss Victoria's 51st birthday last month, before also skipping David's milestone 50th celebrations.
Friends of the family have accused Nicola of keeping Brooklyn from family events and creating "drama", with other publications reporting that Nicola is at the centre of the breakdown in relations, despite the Beckhams' best efforts to support their daughter-in-law since the 2022 wedding.
During this difficult time, Nicola has turned to her close friend, Hollywood star Selena Gomez, for support.
She penned a gushing tribute to her husband
An insider told the Daily Mail: "Selena is always there for her friends if, and when they need anything. She has been messaging Nicola and trying to keep her mind off the drama."
The source added that Selena has been distracting her friend by discussing her upcoming wedding to Benny Blanco and "loves getting Nicola's advice".
Despite tensions, Victoria appears to be making efforts to heal the family rift by including Brooklyn in recent social media posts, as earlier this week, the fashion designer and former Spice Girl publicly sent her love to Brooklyn in what seems to be an attempt to mend relations.
She shared a photo featuring all four of her children alongside her parents to celebrate her father Tony Adams's birthday and captioned the post: "We both love you all so much!" tagging all her children, including Brooklyn.
Victoria also included Brooklyn in a Mother's Day post shared by David, which featured a black and white photo of Victoria with all four children shortly after Harper's birth.
Despite the public olive branches from Victoria, sources claim there has been no reciprocal effort from Brooklyn to repair the relationship.
Nicola also paid trubute to her "angel" friends
"There has been no call, no contact, nothing," a source told the Daily Mail.
"As parents, David and Victoria are concerned for their son and they have tried to get in touch but he isn't interested."
David is reportedly "desperate to make amends with Brooklyn" as he fears history repeating itself, referencing his own bitter fallout with his father Ted in 2005.
The eldest Beckham child has reportedly "found refuge" with Nicola's family in the United States amid the tensions with his own family.
