The oldest Beckham son has not spoken to his mother and father for 15 months

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz marked their fourth wedding anniversary on Friday, April 10, with the oldest Beckham son appearing to take a swipe at his estranged famous parents.

The 27-year-old shared a heartfelt card which he addressed to his billionaire heiress wife, 31, declaring they "have been through so much together" yet remain "stronger than ever."

The seemingly aimed message comes amid his ongoing rift with parents David and Victoria Beckham, from whom he has been estranged for over 15 months.

Brooklyn posted the anniversary tribute to his Instagram story, writing: "Happy anniversary @nicolaannepeltzbeckham x I love you with all my heart. Can't wait to stay young with you xx love you so so much x." (sic)

The anniversary card, printed with bold text and addressed "Dear Nicola," contained an emotional message from Brooklyn declaring his wife his "best friend" and expressing his desire to "grow old together" with her.

In what could be interpreted as another subtle dig at his estranged relatives, Brooklyn also posted an image of an extravagant white rose bouquet delivered by Nicola's parents, billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and his wife Claudia.

The gesture from his in-laws is a massive contrast to the silence from his own family, with no indication that David, Victoria, or his siblings Romeo, Cruz, and Harper had reached out to mark the occasion.

Brooklyn captioned the flower photograph simply, acknowledging the gift from the Peltz family.

The anniversary tribute follows Brooklyn's explosive statement back in January, where he declared he had no intention of reconciling with his family and accused his parents of attempting to "ruin" his marriage.

In the six-page Instagram post, he alleged: "I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety.

“For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared."

He also claimed his mother had "hijacked" his first dance at the wedding and "danced very inappropriately" on him, leaving him feeling "humiliated."

Brooklyn further accused his parents of placing "countless lies in the media" to preserve their public image.

He added to his statement: "The performative social media posts, family events, and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into."

The family dispute has also centred on a row over Brooklyn's name rights, with reports suggesting he is now weighing up whether to take legal action against his mother.

Victoria reportedly trademarked the intellectual property for his full name in 2016 or 2017, which a source claimed was intended to protect him from exploitation rather than as a controlling measure.

However, Brooklyn viewed the move differently, stating in his January post: "Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children."
