Could one Strictly pair's body langauge hint at an exit from the competition?

The next couple to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing may have been identified thanks to the body language of the pair in Week Seven.

In Week Eight, the remaining nine contestants will be hoping they have what it takes to make it to Blackpool but the writing will be on the wall for one pair.

Last weekend was packed full of talking points, from Annabel Croft's emotional tribute to her late husband Mel Coleman to Angela Rippon's controversial dance-off victory over Adam Thomas.

And while Strictly fans think they've "worked out" who Week Eight's casualty will be due to the dance choices given to the couples, a body language expert has shared their thoughts.

Body language expert Darren Stanton, on behalf of Betfair Casino, has predicted it will be Croft and Johannes Radebe who'll be saying their goodbyes come Sunday night.

"I believe Annabel Croft will be at most risk of leaving this week," Stanton said before he delved into his analysis.

He continued: "Cracks were beginning to show in her dance with Johannes. I could see her flashing signs of frustration and nervousness.

"It could be down to the dance, as it must have been hard for her to relive those memories again, but there were signs of Annabel struggling and she could be in trouble.

"This week will be important for her and Johannes. It could go one of two ways and it's a make-or-break situation.

"I could see that she was finding it hard to concentrate in her last routine, as her eye contact wasn't as strong, and their movements weren't as in sync. She will need to show she has what it takes to go further, but I fear it won’t be possible."

Croft may be able to take some consolation in the fact bookmakers haven't priced her as the favourite to exit the competition.

That accolade goes to newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy, with a number of bookmakers putting him as the most likely to be eliminated - despite never being in a dance-off before.

The likes of SkyBet, BetVictor and Betfred all have Guru-Murthy as odds-on to be eliminated at 5/6.

With the same three bookies, Croft is close behind her fellow Strictly star with odds of 7/4 to say farewell.

It looks like Rippon - despite falling victim to new "fix" claims after her dance-off win - will make it to Week Nine as she's been priced much further out than the other two.

Croft and Guru-Murthy's chances may have been hindered by the fact both stars are dancing the Samba this weekend.

However, fans will have to tune in on Saturday night to see if either of them are able to prove doubters wrong with the routine.
