Amanda Owen has spoken candidly about her romantic history, declaring she harbours no regrets despite experiencing two relationship breakdowns in recent years.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess, who ended her 22-year marriage to Clive Owen in 2022, reflected on matters of the heart ahead of her television return.

"Life goes on, relationships come and go," she told The Sun. "Sometimes you're lucky and you stay with the same person for all of your life, and sometimes that doesn't happen. But I have no regrets."

The former couple continue to operate their remote Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale together whilst raising their nine children, though Amanda acknowledges the "dynamics are forever changing" within their household.

Following her separation from Mr Owen, she began a romance with web designer Robert Davies, though that relationship also ended in 2024, with the pair no longer in contact.

The breakdown of Ms Owen's marriage stemmed partly from tensions surrounding her absences from the farm, she has previously revealed.

"Clive never liked me being away from the farm, and that led to arguments," she told The Mirror.

"I would return home not knowing what to expect or what his reaction would be. I'd feel the tension in the air and await the explosion."

The pandemic lockdown period proved pivotal in her decision to end the marriage.

Time spent apart from Mr Owen gave her space to concentrate on her writing career and take stock of her circumstances.

She has admitted that being on her own brought a sense of calm she had not previously experienced, ultimately leading her to conclude the relationship had run its course.

The television star's latest venture sees her reunite with Mr Owen on screen for Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, which documents their ambitious restoration project.

The family has been transforming a 300-year-old derelict barn situated adjacent to their property into what could become a new dwelling.

Known locally as Anty John, the dilapidated structure has undergone remarkable changes during filming.

"To see where we've got to now from where we began, it's amazing," Ms Owen said.

"From not even having a roof to now be able to basically shut all the doors, it's incredible."

She described the renovation journey as "exciting" for viewers to witness, as the crumbling building gradually takes shape as a potential home for the family.

Channel 4 has confirmed that the programme will begin broadcasting on Monday evening at 9pm on More4.

The forthcoming episodes comprise both the third and fourth series of the show, which were captured on camera between May and December 2025.

Production crews documented the full range of Yorkshire's weather patterns throughout the extended filming period, showcasing the county's diverse seasonal conditions.

Ms Owen had teased the return on social media, writing: "I almost forgot to remind you all that Our Farm Next Door is coming back for a new series."
