Adil Ray has taken to social media with another political statement following the shooting of an ICU nurse at the hands of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) officers.
Alex Pretti, 37, was killed by immigration officers in Minneapolis on Saturday, becoming the second American to die at the hands of federal agents in the city in just over a fortnight.
The state of Minnesota, alongside Minneapolis and St Paul, is seeking a court order to scale back the roughly 3,000 agents deployed under the Trump administration's "Operation Metro Surge" crackdown.
Mr Pretti worked as an ICU nurse at a Department of Veterans' Affairs facility, having qualified during the coronavirus pandemic to care for critically ill former service members.

The Department of Homeland Security has maintained that agents fired in self-defence, claiming Mr Pretti was armed with a handgun and resisted attempts to disarm him.
However, eyewitnesses, local officials, and the victim's family have disputed this version of events, stating he was holding a mobile phone rather than a weapon.
His parents accused the administration of spreading "sickening lies" about what happened. "Please get the truth out about our son," they added.
Mr Ray has joined the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Mark Ruffalo, Florence Pugh, and many other famous figures in using social media to condemn the actions of Ice.
Adil Ray is a familiar face on ITV | PAThe ITV star didn't hold back as he fumed: "For how long do the world's leaders appease Trump? Ask yourself. Who is the bigger threat? Trump? Or a refugee on a boat?
"When we abandon our moral duty and our principles, the world dies, regardless of who wins the gunfight."
Mr Ray added in the accompanying caption: "Do we need to wake up? Yes, go WOKE." (sic)
The GMB star also went on to share a statement from Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, which condemned Ice for its actions in Minneapolis and beyond.

"Chicago stands in solidarity with the people of Minneapolis confronting this tyranny. We need Ice and CBP out of our cities now."
This isn't the first time the news presenter has publicly voiced his opposition to the current Trump administration and Ice as a whole.
After 37-year-old Renee Good's death following an earlier shooting in Minneapolis, Mr Ray took exception to Vice President JD Vance's defence of the agent who fired the shots.

"To the radicals assaulting them, doxxing them and threatening them: congratulations, we're going to work even harder to enforce the law."
Mr Ray reposted the social media update to his Instagram Stories, simply captioning the update: "This is insane."
The news presenter also publicly decried President Trump for his capture of Venezuelan leader, Nicolas Maduro.

President Trump
| GETTY"Analysis suggests Trump taking over Venezuela isn't really about oil," Mr Ray said in a social media post. "US don't need oil and they could do deals to rectify what they believe is owed.
"This is about reigning supreme in the Western Hemisphere. When will the UK wake up to that fact and who we appear to be supporting?
"Madness," the Good Morning Britain star signed off, before he soon posted a follow-up message to back up his stance.
He added: "Trump getting hands on oil ultimately allows him to sell the idea to his base. The oil pays for it.
"But ultimately, this is about showing power and might. In the same way, China and Russia do and will continue to."
