Adil Ray has risked dividing Good Morning Britain viewers yet again after using his social media platforms to publicly condemn President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance in the aftermath of the death of a 37-year-old woman at the hands of a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer on Wednesday.
Renee Nicole Good, an American citizen, was killed after being shot in her vehicle during an Ice operation in the south of the city.
The incident has sparked a fierce disagreement between federal and local authorities over what transpired, with the Trump administration and Minneapolis officials offering starkly different accounts of the events.
Vice President Vance fiercely stood by the force, posting on X: "I want every ICE officer to know that their president, vice president and the entire administration stands behind them.

Mr Ray reposted the social media clip to his Instagram Stories, with the song The Hanging Tree by James Newton Howard accompanying the post.
The ITV GMB host also made his thoughts on Vice President Vance's stance clear, simply captioning the update: "This is insane."
Mr Ray also posted a clip from the podcast The News Agents, which featured its hosts describing the "Maga media's" response to the shooting as "grotesque".

Adil Ray used Instagram to condemn the actions of Ice
|Mr Ray ominously warned: "First they come for... then they come for you."
He also took aim at the media coverage of the Ice shooting altogether, suggesting it was disproportionately dominating headlines in the Western world.
Mr Ray wrote: "Every human life matters. But when a western life is lost, we hear about their family, their life, their journey.
"14 Gazan civilians were killed yesterday. 5 children. Can you tell me anything about them?" he asked.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

Adil Ray specifically hit out at JD Vance
|Mr Ray is no stranger to taking a firm stance with his social media posts. Earlier this month, he caused fury after sharing a joke about "hating white people", and he had to issue a clarification last year when he appeared to endorse Sharia law on X.
However, he is far from alone in his criticism of Ice and the administration after the shooting, which occurred approximately one mile from the location where George Floyd was killed by police in 2020.
Meanwhile, federal officials have characterised the shooting as an act of self-defence. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem alleged that Ms Good had been "stalking and impeding" agents throughout the day, using her car to obstruct their movements and shouting at officers.
Ms Noem claimed Ms Good "weaponised her vehicle" and attempted to run over an agent "in an attempt to kill or cause bodily harm", describing it as "an act of domestic terrorism".
Adil Ray is a familiar face on ITV | PAPresident Trump echoed this account, labelling Ms Good a "professional agitator" who had "violently" struck an Ice officer.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey offered a sharply contrasting assessment after reviewing footage of the incident.
"Having seen the video myself, I want to tell everybody directly: that is bullshit," Mr Frey stated. "This was an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying, getting killed."
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension revealed on Thursday that the FBI and Justice Department had ceased cooperation with the state's investigation into the shooting.

Adil Ray also hit out at the Western world's media covered the story
|Federal agencies will now handle the inquiry into the Ice agent's use of lethal force exclusively, effectively shutting out state officials.
Governor Walz has accused the Trump administration of blocking Minnesota's involvement in the case.
Ms Good was reportedly present at the Ice operation as a legal observer, a volunteer role involving monitoring law enforcement conduct to help maintain calm and ensure legal rights are upheld.
Her mother told the Minnesota Star Tribune that her daughter was "not part of anything" that involved confronting Ice agents.

JD Vance has thrown his support behind Ice
| GETTYOld Dominion University President Brian Hemphill paid tribute to Ms Good, writing: "May Renee's life be a reminder of what unites us: freedom, love, and peace."
Ms Good lived just a few streets from where she was killed, in an area that became synonymous with civil unrest after Mr Floyd's murder sparked worldwide anti-racism demonstrations.
Governor Walz has cautioned the hundreds of protesters now gathering in Minneapolis against resorting to violence as tensions between federal authorities and local communities continue to escalate.
