The Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings as Britons brace for flooding and thunderstorms throughout today.
The first weather warning will be in place from 10am until 7pm and will cover London and the Home Counties, as well as the South West.
The Met Office said: "Heavy showers and thunderstorms may cause some disruption in places."
The second warning will be in place from 12pm until 8pm and will cover the Midlands and East Anglia, as well as parts of northern England and eastern Wales.

The forecaster said: "Slow-moving heavy showers and thunderstorms may cause flooding and disruption in places."
As much as 20mm to 30mm could fall over a few hours and there may be hail and lightning strikes.
This could affect driving conditions, causing delays on the road, as well as train services too.
The possibility of flooding is also prevalent in homes and businesses, with some communities facing the prospect of being temporarily cut off due to flooded roads.

The Environment Agency has issued 26 flood alerts, mostly centred in southern England to the west of London, but also near Derby and Shrewsbury.
Dan Harris, the Met Office’s deputy chief meteorologist, said: “Sunday will have a mixture of sunny spells but also scattered, heavy and in places thundery downpours.
“Not everywhere will see them but where they do occur there is a small chance of some temporary issues such as flooded roads.
“Scotland will be cloudier with rain, while Northern Ireland will also be cloudy but with a chance that heavy showers could break out later too, bringing similar conditions to England and Wales.”

The picture will brighten somewhat on Monday with drier conditions in parts of Wales and southwest England.
Met Office meteorologist Craig Snell said: “Overall, it’s a pretty mixed picture, Saturday’s probably the best of the bunch, but there will still be some sunshine around on Sunday and Monday, but we’ll certainly be dodging downpours.
“Watch out for some thunderstorms, especially across parts of northern and central England and northeast Wales too.”
