Marella Cruises has unveiled its winter 2026 programme, marking the cruise line's return to Tunisia after a decade-long absence. The TUI-owned operator will introduce new ports across Morocco, Portugal and Spain when bookings open now.
The expanded itineraries will see the fleet visit La Goulette for Tunis in Tunisia, alongside first-time calls at Tangier in Morocco, Vigo for Santiago de Compostela in Spain, and Leixões for Porto in Portugal. Prices for the winter 2026 season begin at £1,104 per person.
The programme will feature two adults-only vessels among the fleet operating from various European and Caribbean homeports.
The Mediterranean Moments itinerary aboard Marella Explorer 2 will depart Dubrovnik for Malaga on October 29, 2026, calling at Valletta in Malta, Tunis in Tunisia, and the Spanish ports of Alicante and Almeria. This voyage marks Marella's first visit to Tunisia in over 10 years.
The Atlantic Treasures sailing on Marella Discovery 2 will connect Malaga with Las Palmas on November 13, 2026. The route encompasses Tangier in Morocco, Lisbon in Portugal, and the Canary Islands ports of Arrecife in Lanzarote, Puerto del Rosario in Fuerteventura, and Santa Cruz in Tenerife.
The fleet will be strategically positioned across multiple homeports for the winter season. Marella Explorer 2 and Marella Voyager will operate from Barbados, whilst Marella Discovery will sail from La Romana in the Dominican Republic between November 2026 and March 2027, before relocating to Mallorca until April 2027.
Marella Explorer will be based in the Canary Islands, operating from both Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Marella Discovery 2 will follow a similar pattern, homeporting from the Canaries from November 2026 to March 2027, then shifting to Malaga through April 2027.
Caribbean itineraries from Barbados include the seven-night Cocktails and Coconuts and Exotic Islands voyages, featuring calls across the Lesser Antilles and Dutch Caribbean.
The cruise line has enhanced its Cruise & Stay programme with 22 additional hotels across Cyprus, Croatia, Corfu and Spain, bringing the total to 143 properties available through 14 UK airports.
Overnight port stays will be offered in Funchal, Madeira and Willemstad, Curaçao. Announced in recent weeks, the cruise holidays are now available to book.
Managing director of Marella Cruises Chris Hackney said: "We're excited to be launching our winter 2026 itineraries with the return of sailing to some of our Tunisian ports. We are always looking for new ways to improve and adapt our customer offering, whether that's through new destinations, itineraries, or ships.
