Britons who are in Mexico or plan to travel there this weekend could face significant disruption as protests block access to Mexico City's main airport.
In light of this, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has issued fresh travel advice.
A local teachers' movement blocked access to both terminals at Mexico City International Airport (AICM) on May 22 and May 23.
Media reports suggest that they may extend through the weekend (May 24 and May 25). This could potentially impact holidaymakers using the Spring Bank Holiday to kick-start vacation plans.

Officials warned that travellers may experience "flight disruptions or cancellations" as a result of the blockade.
Transport links to and from the airport may also face "significant disruption", with journeys to the terminals taking longer than usual.
The FCDO advised British travellers: "You should monitor local media and stay in touch with your airline or travel agent."
Those who could be affected by the disruption were urged to check for updates regularly as the situation develops.
Holidaymakers already in Mexico City or with imminent travel plans should allow extra time for airport journeys and prepare for possible schedule changes.
