In some good news for British holidaymakers, Jet2 has announced its latest innovation that aims to make travel stress-free and easy.
Jet2holidays has become the first UK tour operator to offer customers real-time tracking of their coach transfers back to departure airports.
The British package holiday provider explained that this "pioneering" technology gives holidaymakers added assurance when returning home from their breaks abroad.
The new functionality is being rolled out across popular destinations, including the Balearics, Canaries, Mainland Spain, Morocco, Turkey, and Bulgaria.

The exclusive "Live Transfer Status" feature is available through the Jet2holidays app. It provides customers with real-time information about their departure transfer, including pick-up location, expected pick-up time, driver name, and vehicle license plate number.
Customers can access this information 30 minutes before their scheduled pick-up when a beacon flashes on their app.
The system also updates travellers about any delays or changes to their transfer arrangements.
Jet2holidays hopes that this new function will ensure Britons enjoy a relaxing end to their travels as opposed to all too familiar last-minute stress.
Since the introduction of this new technology earlier this month, Jet2holidays has reported a "significant reduction" in call volumes related to departure transfers.
This area has traditionally been one of the biggest call drivers across the industry, both for tour operators and independent travel agents.
CEO of Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy, commented on the provider's handy new function, emphasising its benefit to holidaymakers.
He stated: "With millions of customers travelling on hundreds of thousands of coach transfers with Jet2holidays every year, our pioneering Live Transfer functionality is a real game-changer for us and our customers.
"By providing customers with more real-time information about their coach transfer to the departure airport, it means a hassle-free end to their holidays, which in turn is already resulting in far fewer calls to our contact centre and our independent travel agent partners.
"A lot of hard work has gone into the new innovation, and we are already receiving outstanding feedback from customers who are telling us how fantastic it is.

The company has also launched additional functionality via its app, which provides customers with coach transfer information, including coach number and parking location, when they arrive at their holiday destination.
Earlier this month, Jet2 expanded its flights from the UK with new routes to Spain, Portugal, Greece and more.
