New routes to Italy are also set to launch later this year

Budget carrier Wizz Air has announced new flights from its London Luton base, introducing five Spanish destinations set to commence on March 29, 2026.

The low-cost airline will offer connections to Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Seville, with introductory prices beginning at £17.99.


Launching just ahead of Easter holidays and the summer peak season, Britons will have more ways to jet off to Spain.

Barcelona services will operate 10 times weekly, whilst Madrid will receive daily flights.

More Spanish services will see Valencia and Bilbao get five weekly flights each, whilst Seville will operate four times per week. All routes feature starting prices of £17.99, except Madrid, which begins at £20.99.

This comes as the airline announced three more European destinations that will roll out this autumn. Daily services to Vienna and Rome Fiumicino commence on October 26, 2025, priced from £21.99. Milan Malpensa will receive eleven weekly flights starting at £17.99.

Bookings for all routes are currently available through the carrier's website and mobile application, expanding the airline's network from its established Luton hub.

To mark the announcement, the airline has organised a treasure hunt across the capital today, offering participants the opportunity to secure complimentary flights to the new Spanish destinations.

Participants must follow hints posted on the carrier's Instagram account, directing them to three Spanish-themed locations throughout London where company representatives await.
