Spain attracts millions of Britons each year - in fact, 17.8 million visited in 2024, making it the most popular destination for UK holidaymakers.
And it isn't just good for the summer months. Speaking exclusively to GB News, a travel expert shared why it is the perfect place to holiday in autumn.
While the UK cools off, parts of Spain still boast temperatures of 25°C in September and October, making it an ideal place for some last-minute sun close to home.
Travel expert and marketing director at CityTrip Travel, Christian Petzold, shared the three spots he would visit at this time of year.

He said: "For autumn, one of my top recommendations is southern Spain, and more precisely Andalusia.
"Seville, Granada, and Córdoba are still warm in September and October, often reaching the mid-20s, but without the suffocating heat of summer."
Cities like Seville are often the warmest in Spain at any given time, and temperatures can regularly exceed 40°C in the summer months. For many, this makes autumn a much more pleasant time to visit.
Less than three hours on a flight from the UK, the affordable city has historical landmarks to explore, like Plaza de España, and plenty of spots to pick up some authentic food or drink.
The travel expert added: "The atmosphere is vibrant, with fewer tourists cramming onto the historic sites, and you can make the most of cultural experiences like flamenco and tapas. It's also a great time for foodies since various seasonal delicacies reach their peak."
Granada is also full of history, from the Moorish palace complex Alhambra to the cobble streets of the Albaicín district, and it has picturesque views of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Or consider Córdoba, which has a rich blend of Roman, Islamic, and Spanish heritage, and incredible local cuisine.
If Spain isn't for you, Petzold shared another great part of Europe to visit now to immerse yourself in culture and celebrations.

"Even if beer is not the main attraction, the festival itself is an enjoyable cultural event complete with traditional music, food, and Bavarian hospitality."
Oktoberfest began on September 20 and runs until October 5, so holidaymakers should be quick if they want to make an appearance.
More routes were recently launched from the UK, with 14 extra flights heading to Munich in the next couple of weeks. A new train route through Europe is also running, featuring Bavarian entertainment on board.
