Holidaymakers can find something for every type of winter break

Ryanair has released its Winter 2025 schedule for London, with more flights jetting off within months.

British holidaymakers will be able to experience new services from London airports to European winter escapes.

The airline announced five new routes from London, with services from Luton to Wrocław, and four new routes from Stansted to Lübeck, Münster, Murcia and Trapani.

This means Ryanair now connects Stansted with more European destinations than are served from Heathrow, and offers lower fares on these routes.

Wrocław, Poland

Wrocław is a quaint holiday spot with a must-visit Old Town and Gothic architecture to enjoy. In winter, it is particularly charming as it boasts some of the best Christmas markets in Central Europe.

Holidaymakers can explore artisan gifts, sip on mulled wine and sample local cuisine - all without the large crowds of more popular market destinations.

Lübeck, Germany

This UNESCO-listed Hanseatic city exudes medieval charm, and Britons can take in festive lights that adorn the historic streets during the winter months.

It is known for its marzipan, which holidaymakers can sample at one of the traditional German Christmas markets for an authentic festive experience.

Münster, Germany

Another quieter German option is Münster, which has cobbled streets, an impressive cathedral, and more markets.

Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while sipping on glühwein and enjoying the picture-perfect winter setting.

Murcia, Spain

For something a bit different this winter, Murcia is an option for some winter sun - with highs of 18° to 21° in November and December.

It has far fewer tourists than other parts of Spain, making it ideal for exploring baroque architecture, tapas bars, and scenic countryside.
