British holidaymakers have brilliant news for next summer as Corendon Airlines plans to add 20 per cent more seats from the UK and other European countries for the 2026 season.
The leisure airline will boost flights from six British airports, making it easier than ever to reach favourite holiday spots in Turkey and Greece.
It's a major move that shows just how popular these destinations remain with Britons looking for guaranteed sunshine.
The airline, which currently flies 10 million passengers yearly to 18 destinations across Turkey, Greece, Spain, the Canary Islands, Egypt and Morocco - great for British travellers' love for Mediterranean getaways.
Antalya, Turkey, will get more flights from the UK
| GETTYThe big winners are travellers from Stansted, who'll get daily flights to Antalya starting next summer. Manchester, Gatwick, Birmingham, Glasgow and Newcastle will also see more frequent services to the Turkish resort city, with multiple flights each week.
Greek island fans aren't forgotten either - Heraklion in Crete will get regular connections from British airports. It's perfect timing for families and couples who love these tried-and-tested holiday favourites.
The focus on Turkey and Greece is great for Britons who want to go for their summer breaks, offering great weather, lovely beaches and good value for money.
While British travellers enjoy these improvements, Corendon is also growing its German operations in a big way. The airline will launch new services from Münster/Osnabrück to Heraklion and add flights from Hannover to Las Palmas and Fuerteventura.
Nuremberg passengers can look forward to new connections to Fuerteventura and Palma de Mallorca. Meanwhile, flights to Egypt's Hurghada resort will jump from three to five weekly from Nuremberg, Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn.
The airline is also making several routes available throughout the entire summer season rather than just for a few weeks, including services to Hurghada from Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, Stuttgart, Linz and Vienna.
UK country manager Matthew Carpenter said: "In the 2026 summer flight schedule, we are concentrating on our core routes and consistently pursuing our growth strategy.
"We are increasing UK flights, focusing on our core bases in Greece and Turkey and increasing the frequency of flights from some of our current UK departure points."
