Cruise lovers can book the new voyages from today

Princess Cruises has unveiled its most impressive Caribbean programme yet, with 187 sailings planned across nine vessels for the 2027-28 season.

The cruise line will visit 31 ports from five departure points, marking a huge expansion of its Caribbean offerings.

The standout addition is Celebration Key, an exclusive destination on Grand Bahama Island that's set to welcome its first Princess ship in November 2026. This purpose-built paradise represents Carnival Corporation's most extensive exclusive destination project to date.

British holidaymakers can already book these Caribbean and Panama Canal voyages, with the new island experiences becoming available for reservation from today, December 17.

The newest vessels in the fleet, Star Princess and Sun Princess, will make their Caribbean debuts during this period. Star Princess will operate its inaugural season from Port Canaveral, whilst Miami joins the roster as a fresh departure point alongside Fort Lauderdale, New York and San Juan.

Travellers can choose from 43 different routes lasting between four and 15 days. The itineraries feature 22 distinct islands across the Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean regions.

History enthusiasts will love the inclusion of 13 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as St. Kitts' Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park and Martinique's volcanic landscapes of Mount Pelée.

Celebration Key promises to transform the typical port day with its five distinct zones spread across more than a mile of pristine beachfront. Families will flock to Starfish Lagoon, where one of the Caribbean's biggest freshwater lagoons spans 3.5 acres, complete with water slides and splash areas.

Adults seeking relaxation can head to Calypso Lagoon, home to what's being billed as the world's largest swim-up bar. For those wanting premium experiences, Pearl Cove Beach Club offers an infinity pool and upscale dining for an additional fee.

The destination features more than 30 food and drink venues, from Captain's Galley Food Hall to speciality seafood spots. Lokono Cove rounds out the experience with local Bahamian crafts and artwork.

Late-night port stays in Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao give passengers extra time to explore these beloved ABC islands.

Princess Cruises chief commercial officer, Jim Berra, said: "We're incredibly excited to bring our guests an expanded Caribbean season filled with more of what they love."
