Jet2CityBreaks has announced a huge update to its city break portfolio for 2025-2026, responding to growing demand for cultural getaways.
The UK's largest operator of European city breaks is adding year-round trips to Murcia in Spain and Braga in Portugal.
Additionally, the company has launched new winter packages to Geneva and Salzburg, designed for travellers wanting to combine city experiences with skiing opportunities.
The expansion includes ATOL-protected package holidays with flights from multiple UK airports, offering customers more choice for cultural escapes throughout the year.
Year-round flights will go to Murcia, Spain
GETTYCustomers can reach Murcia via flights to Alicante Airport from all 13 of Jet2.com's UK airport bases, including Belfast International, Birmingham, and London Stansted.
The company offers a range of 3- to 4-star hotels in the city where "medieval meets modern". Murcia is described as being "jam-packed with charm, culture and cosmopolitan vibes" with lovely plazas, beautiful architecture and cosy tapas bars.
City breaks to this south-eastern Spanish destination are available year-round for Summer 25, Winter 25/26 and Summer 26.
Brand-new Braga is accessible via Porto Airport from Birmingham and Manchester in Summer 25, Winter 25/26 and Summer 26, with Newcastle International added for Summer 26.
City breaks to this Portuguese destination are available until November 2026, with a choice of 4- and 5-star hotels.
Braga offers numerous religious sites with beautiful architecture alongside a young and vibrant university population.
Jet2CityBreaks describes the city as offering "something for everyone" with its blend of historical and contemporary attractions.
In response to increasing demand for combining winter sports with city breaks, Jet2CityBreaks has launched packages to Geneva and Salzburg for Winter 25/26.
Geneva city breaks are available from nine UK airports, including Birmingham, Bristol and London Stansted from mid-December 2025 to April 2026.
The company offers 3- and 4-star hotels in this cosmopolitan Swiss city with access to premium ski slopes.
