The biggest night in British television is taking place in the capital tonight


The stars have begun to arrive at the 2026 Bafta Television Awards ahead of tonight's ceremony at the Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall.

Comedian Greg Davies assumes hosting duties for the first time, succeeding Alan Cumming, who presented the Bafta Film Awards earlier this year.

Among the early arrivals were Strictly stars Lewis Cope and Tasha Ghouri, while reality TV stars Ashley James and Fiona Hughes also turned heads on the red carpet.

Alan Carr accompanied Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden to the event, while former Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter left little to the imagination in her sheer dress.

Among the presenters who will hand out awards throughout the ceremony are Richard Osman, Jessica Gunning, Chris McCausland, Marisa Abela and Rick Astley.

Harry Potter star Mr Essiedu wore Sauvereign's PURE 3 Legacy Gem as a brooch to complete his all-black look. The Pure 3 Legacy Gem is made of layers of 24-carat gold leaf with delicate veins of white gold leaf.
