Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced additional flights to Rome for rugby fans attending the 2026 Six Nations tournament.
The extra capacity has been added from five UK airports to serve supporters travelling to the Italy v Scotland fixture on Saturday, February 7 and the Italy v England match on Saturday, March 7.
The airline said it had "responded immediately to the demand from rugby fans looking to head to the Italian capital" following the publication of the 2026 Six Nations fixtures on Monday.
The additional flights will operate from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London Stansted and Manchester airports, giving rugby fans all over the UK easy accessibility.
Visitors can enjoy 'spectacular history and ancient monuments'
GETTY IMAGESFans can choose between flight-only bookings with Jet2.com or ATOL-protected city break packages with Jet2CityBreaks, which include flights, 22kg luggage allowance and accommodation.
For the Italy v Scotland fixture, flights will operate from Edinburgh and Glasgow airports. Flights for the Italy v England match will depart from Birmingham, Manchester, and London Stansted.
"In addition to watching the Six Nations at one of the best stadiums in Europe, customers can also make the most of the fixtures and enjoy a city break in Italy's capital," the airline added.
Rome offers visitors the chance to experience "spectacular history and ancient monuments" alongside the rugby, including the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Sistine Chapel.

- Edinburgh Airport - two additional services to Rome (Thursday, February 5 and Sunday, February 8)
- Glasgow Airport - two additional services to Rome (Thursday, February 5 and Sunday, February 8)
Italy v England (Saturday, March 7, 2026)
- Birmingham Airport - two additional services to Rome (Friday, March 6 and Monday, March 9)
- Manchester Airport - two additional services to Rome (Friday, March 6 and Monday, March 9)
- London Stansted Airport - two additional services to Rome (Friday, March 6 and Monday, March 9)
These additional flights "further enhance" Jet2's existing schedule, meaning many opportunities to enjoy a weekend in Rome for the sporting event.
