More than 12.3 million Britons are considering a move abroad in the next five years, according to new research, and Mexico has been named as the destination where people are the happiest.
British expats can find inspiration as the top countries with the highest life satisfaction were named in a study by international health insurance specialists, William Russell.
Topping the list is Mexico, a vibrant destination known for its white-sand beaches, rich culture and relaxed way of life.
It received a score of 8.5 out of 10, thanks largely to its strong sense of community and focus on enjoying life.
