Two sunny countries were named the most affordable for couples and families

All-inclusive hotels allow you to relax by the pool, cocktail in hand, knowing you won't be hit with a huge bill at the end of the day.

Whether you are looking to get away with your partner or as a family, new research has named the cheapest destinations, with prices starting at just £81 per person per night.


This is according to the Recharge Report, by loveholidays, which rounded up where you can get more for less.

Tunisia and Morocco were named the top two most affordable destinations for holidays for both families and couples.

The travel experts explained: "Value for money is a key factor to holidaymakers when choosing their getaway, with all-inclusive holidays becoming increasingly favoured amongst both couples and families.

"By knowing the cost and inclusions up front, holidaymakers can ensure peace of mind to truly switch off and create memorable experiences, without the stress of unexpected costs."

There are different levels of all-inclusive hotels available at various price points, so holidaymakers can find something to suit their preferences, whether they want freshly made cocktails, à la carte dining, or something more affordable.

The experts continued: "What’s more, North African destinations offer relatively short flight times from the UK, making air travel with young children manageable and stress-free.

"On landing, dry sandy beaches, various excursions and child-friendly activities are in abundance.

"Alongside affordable favourites Mainland Spain and the Canary Islands, Black Sea resorts Sunny Beach and Golden Sands in Bulgaria offer sandy beaches, vibrant nightlife, and various all-inclusive options complete with kids’ clubs, waterparks and entertainment tailored to families and couples alike."

The research found affordability is taking priority over popularity - "there’s an emerging preference among beach holiday lovers to swap bustling resorts for quieter, more affordable destinations".

In particular, holidaymakers are turning to Durrës, Albania, which has seen bookings up 224 per cent in the last year.
