Holidaymakers will enjoy music from a range of tribute acts

Butlin's is tapping into the UK's growing love affair with country music by launching a brand-new themed break for 2026.

The Giants of Country Bootleg Edition Weekender will be hosted exclusively at the Minehead resort, kicking off on October 9. It's the latest addition to the adults-only Big Weekenders programme.

The new event promises to celebrate the biggest stars in modern country music, giving fans a chance to immerse themselves in the genre across a three-night stay at the Somerset seaside resort.

Guests can look forward to tribute performances honouring some of country music's most iconic names, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, Morgan Wallen and Chris Stapleton.

When the tribute acts aren't performing, there's plenty more fun to be had. The Saddle Up line-dancing experience gives visitors the chance to get involved in a proper hoedown, making it a truly immersive country music getaway.

Every Weekender includes three nights of live music from headline artists and DJs, accommodation throughout the break, plus a packed schedule of daytime and evening activities.

The country-themed break isn't the only fresh addition to the 2026 calendar, with four other new Weekenders also launching this year.

Bognor Regis is getting two brand-new events, starting with the Don't Tell Mama LGBTQ+ Weekender on January 23.

The West Sussex resort will also welcome back Bugged Out on March 6 after a decade away, promising three nights of top-tier electronic music from world-class DJs.

Over at Minehead, the My Generation Weekender arrives on January 9 for Mod enthusiasts.

Skegness is hosting the Soul Power Weekender from January 16, transporting guests back to the neo soul era of the early 90s. The 2026 lineup also brings some exciting new headliners to the Decade Big Weekenders.

JLS star Aston Merrygold and The Wanted 2.0 will be delivering all the classic noughties hits at selected Back To The 2000s Weekenders. Merrygold is also topping the bill at selected Replay Weekenders, which bring together the best music from the 80s, 90s and 2000s.
