The summer may have only just ended, but many Britons are already planning for their 2026 break - in fact, searches for 'August 2026 holidays' have jumped 285 per cent in the last week.
So if you do want to plan ahead, it could be a good time to get a cheap deal. Experts have rounded up the best value holidays you can book for next year.
Marrakech - which is often hailed for warm temperatures and affordable prices - took the top spot in the new research.
A number of key factors were considered by Discount for Teachers to collate the list, including flight prices, popularity, safety and the cost of food and drink. Each destination was given an overall score.

Marrakech "offers an unbeatable mix of affordability, sunshine, and culture", with experts finding August flights for as little as £42, and local transport costing around 33p.
There is plenty of opportunity to soak up the Moroccan sun as summer temperatures reach scorching highs of 36°C, and the cost of a cooling drink or snack stays low.
If those temperatures are too high and a city break is more your scene, Budapest is a great option. The heat is more manageable, at around 30°C, and it has similar flight prices.
The experts continued: "Budapest takes second place thanks to its blend of low costs and rich cultural appeal. August flights start from £45, and there’s plenty of local entertainment, from thermal baths to riverside bars.
"The weather is warm but comfortable, with average highs of 30°C, and a one-way public transport ticket costs less than £1.

In third place is Seville in Spain. This is another scorching city, but it is well-equipped to handle the heat. Visit the famous Plaza de España or enjoy local tapas, all at a time of year when holiday costs are at their peak.
The experts added: "Seville ranks third, offering a fiery Spanish escape for those who love the heat – temperatures average a sizzling average high of 38°C in August.
"Flights can be cheap at £60, and the average cost for a meal, beer, and coffee comes in at just £40, making it a great destination for foodies on a budget. With a decent safety score of 69.5 and loads of cultural charm, Seville is an ideal summer city break."
