In fact, new research shows people are going wild for rural retreats, with searches for England countryside cottages shooting up an incredible 814 per cent.
Scotland's countryside isn't far behind, with searches jumping 73 per cent, according to Pinterest's Autumn Trend Report. It's not just this platform seeing this trend either - Google searches for beloved spots like the Cotswolds have risen 26 per cent in the past month.
The Peak District and Brecon Beacons are also sought-after destinations, with searches up 22 per cent and 25 per cent respectively. Travel booking platform Omio has now revealed which countryside destinations offer the best autumn weather conditions, with Norfolk Broads topping the list.
