The experts at UK holiday provider Parkdean Resorts said: "Spring is just around the corner and with the Easter school holidays fast approaching, families are keen to get out and take in the beautiful British coastline. However, spring weather can sometimes be temperamental, especially by the seaside.
"With this in mind, UK holiday provider Parkdean Resorts has analysed the average temperature, number of rainy days and daylight hours of beaches across the UK, to reveal the best beaches to visit this spring."
Kynance Cove: The perfect place to spend a spring day

According to the experts, Kynance Cove, Cornwall is the number one beach to visit in the UK. Kynance Cove has a very modest nine and a half rainy days in spring, meaning you'' likely be able to enjoy a beachy stroll without being drenched.
This Cornwall spot has 14.5 daylight hours and an average temperature of 13 degrees Celsius.
One beach fan called Kynance Cove "absolutely stunning - I mean just stunning". They provided "a few top tips for a good time", suggesting: "Get there early as parking can be a little tricky. We were here first thing and benefitted hugely from it."
Another visitor said: "Kynance Cove is a must-visit if you staying anywhere near the Lizard. The beach and surrounding scenery is simply breathtaking. Bear in mind you need to be reasonably fit and mobile to get down and back from the beach - although you can get good views of the beach from the coastal path, not too far from the car park."

The second best beach to visit in spring 2024 is Holkham Beach in Norfolk, according to the experts. It has an average of 12.5 rainy days. It boasts around 15 hours of daylight hours and sits at 12 degrees Celsius on average.
Norfolk is clearly a must-visit for beach lovers, as it is also home to the third best UK beach for spring 2024 - Brancaster Beach. Brancaster Beach averages at 12.5 rainy days per year, 15 daylight hours, and an average temperature of 12 degrees Celsius.

Northumberland's Bamburgh Castle Beach has an average of 16.5 daylight hours (the most of all 10 beaches), however, it has a nippy average temperature of 11 degrees Celsius and around 14 rainy days.
As for which beaches Britons should avoid this spring, Botany Bay, Kent; Filey Beach, Yorkshire; and Benllech Beach, Wales, took the eighth, ninth and 10th spots out of 10.
While Benllech Beach is a lovely spot, described by one visitor on Tripadvisor as a "little gem", it may not be the ideal choice for March, April and May.
Despite having 15 daylight hours on average, its average temperature is just 11.5 degrees Celsius and around 14 rainy days.
