Samsung is bringing its new Galaxy Book 6 lineup to British shores, with prices starting from £949.
These flagship Windows 11 notebooks are powered by the Intel Core Ultra Series 3, the first sub-2-nanometre system-on-a-chip manufactured in North America. This diddy chipset ensures more efficient performance, fuelling faster Artificial Intelligence (AI) features, multi-tasking, and maximising battery life.
Samsung promises its svelte new machines will offer its "most advanced PC performance yet".
The Galaxy Book 6 lineup will be available to preorder from February 25, with the first notebooks shipping on March 11, 2026. There are three flavours for the new range, with the all-singing all-dancing Galaxy Book6 Ultra at the top end with price tags of up to £2,999, the Galaxy Book6 Pro as the middle child (£1,399 – £1,499), and the standard Galaxy Book6 if you're after something more budget-friendly (£949 – £1,049). Both Galaxy Book6 Pro and Book6 are available in a choice of 14" or 16" screens, while the Book6 Ultra is only available with the biggest 16" display size.

There are 3 different models in the new Galaxy Book6 lineup, with 14" and 16" screen sizes available on the standard Galaxy Book6 and Galaxy Book6 Pro variations

Here's a quick cheatsheet of some of the new Book6 models, and how much each will set you back...
- Galaxy Book6 14" kicks things off at £949 with a 14-inch screen, 16GB memory, and 256GB storage
- Galaxy Book6 16" comes in at £1,049 for the same specs, but with a larger 16-inch display
- Fancy a touchscreen? The Galaxy Book6 16" Touch will cost you £1,099
- Galaxy Book6 Pro 14" is yours for £1,399, offering 14" with similar specifications
- Step up to the Galaxy Book6 Pro 16" at £1,499 for that bigger 16-inch screen with the same performance
- Galaxy Book6 Ultra comes in at £2,999, packing 32GB memory, 1TB storage, and a premium 16-inch display
If you plump for that maxed-out Ultra model at the top of the range, you'll also get an NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card thrown in. That means smoother visuals and better support for AI-powered creative tools when you need them.
Samsung has also upgraded the cooling system inside all these laptops. That matters because it means your machine will keep running smoothly even when you're pushing it hard with intensive tasks, rather than slowing down when things heat up.
To make sure all of that extra grunt doesn't generate too much heat, Samsung engineers designed a newly optimised vapour chamber and airflow system to dissipate the warmth from the densely-packed Intel system-on-a-chip.
Samsung slashes £300 off the previous Galaxy Book5 laptops

Don't fancy waiting for the all-new Galaxy Book 6 lineup? Samsung has slashed £300 off the Galaxy Book 5 on its online store. This PC still runs Windows 11 Home and ships with 16GB of RAM. If you're looking for a new slimline laptop that doesn't break the bank, this could be the right pick

Samsung had to redesign the cooling system inside its svelte laptops to handle the performance of the new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 system-on-a-chip

By expanding the size of the fins inside the fan, heat is safely whisked away more effectively, improving cooling efficiency by 35% compared to the previous generation. Samsung says this new design maintains quiet operation across Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Pro models, marking the first time the Pro series uses a vapour chamber.
Design-wise, you're looking at laptops that combine serious power with proper portability. Samsung has worked on making these machines slim and light enough to carry around without thinking twice about it.
The look is minimalist and clean, with those curved corners that Samsung loves using on its Galaxy products.

Battery life also enjoys a boost from this new generation of chipsets. The Galaxy Book 6 lineup includes Samsung’s longest-lasting Galaxy Book battery yet, with both the Pro and Ultra models rated for 30-hours of video playback on a single charge.
That's five hours more than its predecessor and means you'll be able to watch your favourite films at the airport for the recommended three-hours before boarding the longest long-haul flight on the planet (an epic 19-hour journey from Singapore to New York) and still have enough juice for a full day at the office. Yikes.
If you're running low, the fast charging on Galaxy Book 6 Ultra promises to restore up to 63% of battery life in just 30 minutes.

Despite the performance, Samsung has maintained a slim and lightweight chassis for the Galaxy Book 6 lineup

Despite the serious amount of battery life and performance squeezed into these machines, the engineers at Samsung have managed to keep everything contained in a very compact package. The top-end Galaxy Book 6 Ultra measures a meagre 15.4 millimetres in thickness, representing a 1.1-millimetre reduction from its predecessor. The Pro 16-inch variant achieves an even slimmer 11.9-millimetre profile.
While the standard and Pro models are available in a choice of 14 or 16-inch screen sizes, the all-singing, all-dancing Galaxy Book 6 Ultra only ships with the biggest display. Likewise, the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra ships in a single colour, Grey. However, the other two are available in your choice of Grey or Silver.
You'll also get AI tools built in that help you stay organised and get through your work faster. These features help sort through information and make your daily tasks less of a hassle.
Where it gets really handy is if you've already got other Samsung devices. The laptops connect easily with the rest of the Galaxy ecosystem, letting you share files and switch between devices without any fuss, which makes for a much more flexible working setup.

There's also a two-tone keyboard and haptic touch trackpad designed for comfortable hand placement and precise controls, up to six speakers with Dolby Atmos certification on the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, and HDR peak brightness of up to 1,000-nits so everything on-screen remains clear-as-day even when working outside in direct sunlight.
"At Samsung, we believe true innovation starts with getting the fundamentals right," said Won-Joon Choi, President, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Head of the R&D Office, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics.
"Performance defines the PC experience. With the Galaxy Book6 series, we combine unparalleled speed and power with dependable AI to deliver the exceptional productivity and creativity capabilities users expect from Samsung."
