With schools and Universities due back in the coming weeks, the timing of this MacBook deal couldn't be better

For less than £18 a month, you could upgrade to the latest MacBook Air model from Apple.

You won't find the latest discount in your nearest Apple Store — it's only available from EE. While it might seem a little odd to buy your new laptop from a mobile network, EE has some outstanding MacBook deals.

Alongside Sky Mobile, it's one of the only places that offers MacBooks on a pay-monthly deal. But whereas Sky Mobile charges £20 per month for its MacBook Air deal, EE has slashed the cost to £17.69.

Over the course of 48 months, you'll pay off the cost of your new laptop with 0% APR. In total, you'll spend £849.12 on the latest MacBook Air, which costs £999 when bought from the Apple Store.

That's a hefty £150 saving in the latest EE sale. Whereas most brands will charge you for the privelege of paying for the laptop in small monthly instalments — making the upgrade as affordable as possible — EE charges exactly the same price to buy the MacBook Air outright today. If you're looking for a MacBook deal that offers affordability and the flexibility of a monthly payment scheme, this is it.

EE offers free delivery within 1 to 3 working days on its MacBook Air deal.

Amazon has price-matched the same deal, with Prime members able to benefit from same-day delivery at no extra cost. The £150 price crash applies across all colourways of the MacBook Air, including Midnight, Silver, Sky Blue, and Starlight.

If you missed the announcement earlier this year, the MacBook Air (M4) is the latest iteration of this bestselling laptop and boasts an improved webcam previously reserved for the pricier MacBook Pro lineup, a new Sky Blue colourway, and a faster chipset designed to blitz through Artificial Intelligence (AI) tasks. It also dropped the price back to £999 for the first time in years.

The MacBook Air M4 13" 2025 features Apple's M4 chip, a 10-core CPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine, which are all used to deliver speed and efficiency while you work.

It includes 16 GB of unified RAM (with the option to select more before purchasing). After purchase, you can switch up the amount of storage. Unified RAM, also known as unified memory, is a type of computer memory architecture where the CPU and GPU share the same memory pool

You also have the option of 256GB or 512GB of storage, depending on your workload. If you plan on having your MacBook for general usage, you may not need extra storage. However, if you work with a lot of photo and video editing software, you could benefit from the extra space.

The screen features a 13.6-inch liquid retina display, which creates optimal brightness and vibrancy for your work.

You can also expect up to 18 hours of battery, so you won't have to worry about always packing your charger if you need a change of scenery during your day.

The MacBook Air M4 15″ has similar features to the 13-inch, but it stretches your workspace to a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, and still boasts the same brightness and vibrancy as the 13-inch screen.

Both laptops with 13-inch and 15-inch displays offer spatial audio, which is an immersive experience that makes it feel as if sounds are coming from various directions and distances.

They also come with a built-in 12 megapixel camera for high-quality video calling.

In the box, you'll find a MagSafe charger, which is a wireless charging option instead of having to plug your laptop in with a traditional cable.
