Sky unlocked an additional 35 channels and thousands of boxsets for all Sky Stream and Sky Glass viewers.
From today, anyone with the entry-level Essential TV package could (temporarily) enjoy the pricier Ultimate TV package at no extra cost. But you'll only have until 11.59pm October 16, 2025, to take advantage.
The free upgrade includes channels like Sky Documentaries, Sky Comedy, Sky Crime, U&Gold, Comedy Central, Sky Max, or Sky Witness. With these new additions, you'll be able to stream shows like the BAFTA-winning Mr Bigstuff and the final season of Brassic.
Other shows to enjoy include Matlock and The Rookie on Sky Witness, Hacks and Rob Beckett’s Smart TV on Sky Max, Boyzone: No Matter What on Sky Documentaries, Planet Weird on Sky Nature and The Righteous Gemstones on Sky Comedy.
What's the small-print? Nothing.
If you're subscribed to the Essential TV bundle, you won't need to do anything to unlock the new additions. Overnight, Sky has flipped a switch and enabled all of the additional channels included with the Ultimate TV bundle. Just pick up your remote control and head to the TV Guide to find listings from dozens of new channels that you'd ordinarily be unable to watch.
On-demand boxsets from shows or documentaries that previously aired on channels exclusive to the pricier Ultimate TV bundle will be available in the dedicated TV Shows or Playlist sections of SkyOS.
