Clean the entire home on a single charge

  • Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum is on sale for £249.99 — was £399.99
  • Snag the deal on Dyson's online store, Currys, AO, and John Lewis
  • You'll get 40 minutes of run time, seven attachments, and powerful suction
  • The catch? This isn't the newest model of the V8 available
  • Dyson released a newer V8 Compact last September

If you've been meaning to upgrade your dusty old vacuum, you're in luck. British brand Dyson has knocked £150 off its popular V8 Absolute vacuum across its online site, Currys, AO, and John Lewis.

This compact cleaner is designed to deliver powerful fade-free suction with a high-speed digital motor capable of two suction modes. With up to 40 minutes of run time, that should be more than enough to deep-clean a handful of rooms, the inside of your car, or vacuum-pack your entire winter wardrobe between charges.

It also comes with seven different attachments to clean in every nook and cranny, including a crevice tool, fluffy cleaner head, hair screw tool, quick-release mini soft dusting brush, mattress tool, motorbar cleaner head, and a combination tool.

Save £150 on the Dyson V8 Absolute from Currys

You can save £150 and upgrade your home cleaning setup with the Dyson V8 Absolute. This vacuum is designed to deliver powerful, fade-free suction with a high-speed digital motor and up to 40 minutes of run time. It's built to remove pet hair easily, cleans hard floors without static, and captures fine dust and allergens. Plus, its advanced filtration and cyclone technology ensure consistent performance, keeping your home cleaner without sacrificing suction.

If you've been thinking about switching to the Dyson V8, this £150 saving is a great deal. However, the model on sale isn't the newest V8 available. Dyson unveiled its new V8 Compact vacuum last September.

Designed with 30% more suction power, this refreshed vacuum is designed to tackle stubborn dirt and debris. It also has an increased run time of up to 60 minutes and a swappable battery for uninterrupted whole-home coverage.

Dyson has ditched the trigger, so there's no need to keep hold of the power on the suction, and it boasts one extra cleaning mode than its predecessor – Eco, joining Medium and Boost.

If you already have an existing V8 you're looking to swap, you can save your current attachments to use on the newer model. This could be especially helpful as the V8 Cyclone only comes with three attachments right out of the box — crevice tool, mini motorised tool, and the motorbar cleaner head.

Upgrade to the Dyson V8 Cyclone

Dyson unveiled its V8 Compact vacuum last September, offering 30% more suction to tackle stubborn dirt with ease. The model delivers up to 60 minutes of runtime, features a swappable battery, and introduces a triggerless power button. With Eco, Medium, and Boost modes, plus compatibility with existing V8 attachments, it’s built for flexible, whole-home cleaning.

Dyson's V8 line was originally released a decade ago, but has endured because of its affordability compared to its V15 Detect Submarine and the V16 Piston Animal, still popular and often on sale.

The cleaner also goes head-to-head with the likes of the Halo Capsule X or the Shark Vertext Cordless Stick.

It has a compact design, making it easy to store away. And it's complimentary docking system gives you the option to hang it on the wall.
