Dry, curl, and style your hair at a fraction of the price

Dyson Airwrap i.d. multi-styler and dryers have plummeted in price on the company's online site. This premium haircare gadget, designed and built by the iconic British brand, usually costs a whopping £479.99, but up to £100 has been slashed off the price.

For those who don't already know, the Dyson Airwrap i.d. is a one-stop-shop haircare tool that combines drying, curling, smoothing, and flyaway control in a single device.

The brand has cut prices on the Prussian Blue/ Rich Copper and the Ceramic Patina/Topaz colourways.

However, Dyson bundles different attachments based on whether you choose the Straight+Wavy was £479.99, now £399.99, or Curly+Coily bundle was £479.99, now £379.99.

Dyson Airwrap i.d. is the British brand's first Bluetooth-connected multi-styler designed to dry, curl, and smooth hair using the Coanda effect, rather than heat. Paired with the MyDyson app, it personalises curls via the i.d.curl switch, adjusting heat, airflow, and timing automatically as you move between attachments

Both stylers use the Coanda effect to style with minimal heat and include six attachments — new Conical Airwrap barrels, Wave+Curl diffuser, smoothing dryer, and brushes — alongside an ioniser to reduce any stray hairs caused by static.

The Coanda effect describes the way that a concentrated jet of air will "hug" a nearby surface. Dyson has harnessed this phenomenon to attract and wrap hair around a barrel or brush attachment, using the low‑pressure zone created by the Coanda effect to pull all of the strands in a single direction.

With its powerful motor, Airwrap relies solely on airflow to curl, wave, and smooth damp hair without extreme heat.

DYSON PRESS OFFICE

Before the Dyson Airwrap, no major hair tool manufacturer relied entirely on the Coanda effect for hair‑styling — traditional dryers and brushes typically lean on a combination of heat and manual tension, rather than aerodynamic entrainment.

These models first launched back in August 2024, superseding the 2022 original by adding personalised heat and airflow settings for every attachment via the MyDyson mobile app on Android or iPhone.

Using radio frequency (RFID) sensors inside the attachments, the Airwrap can recall these settings and automatically adjust airflow and heat whenever you snap a certain attachment onto the device.

Dyson has worked hard to ensure that its newest Airwrap safeguards your hair from heat damage. Intelligent heat control measures air temperature over 40x every second to prevent heat damage.

MyDyson app also boasts the ability to create a quick and easy hair profile by answering six questions about your hair type and length. After processing your responses, Dyson will generate an automated style sequence — tailored to you.

High demand has led to frequent sell‑outs and backorders worldwide, with Dyson’s site and many retailers reporting waitlists and stock shortages as the i.d. remains exceptionally popular. As such, we wouldn't expect this Dyson deal to stick around for too long.
