Pay nothing for your home Wi-Fi connection until October

If you're looking to slash the cost of your broadband, it really doesn't get much better than a monthly bill of £0. But that's exactly what new customers who sign up to Community Fibre can expect.

The lesser-known broadband supplier is offering free broadband for the first three months of your new contract, a limited-time offer that it claims will save switchers from BT, Sky, Virgin Media O2, and other brands as much as £177.

Community Fibre has also waived all set-up fees, so it guarantees that no money will leave your bank account for three months. That's a very tempting deal.

If you want to secure free broadband, you'll need to sign-up before 11.59pm on July 6, 2025.

Switch to Community Fibre and pay £0 for your full-fibre broadband

If you switch to Community Fibre before 11.59pm on July 6, you can enjoy £0 broadband for the next three months. When your monthly internet bills eventually begin, you'll only pay £21 for 300Mbps — that's faster than the average household broadband speed in the UK. There's no set-up fee either, and Community Fibre will send a Wi-Fi router to ensure wireless coverage throughout your home

The offer applies to both 12- and 24-month contracts, so those who want the flexibility of a one-year contract won't miss out on the savings. The free broadband deal is available on the following packages: 100Mbps, 300Mbps, and 1Gbps.

When your broadband bills do start, you'll pay £19 a month for 100Mbps speeds, rising to £21 a month for 300Mbps. For comparison, Sky Broadband charges £28 a month for 300Mbps, which it has branded its "lowest price", meanwhile, BT charges £29.99 a month for its 150Mbps speeds.

Community Fibre offers a 60-day Satisfaction Guarantee, so that if at any moment within the first 60 days of your new contract you're unsatisfied with the 100% full fibre connection, you can leave with no cancellation fees. This is much longer than the fortnight cooling-off period you'll get from most providers in the industry.

According to Ofcom, the average broadband speed in the UK sits around 223Mbps in 2025 — a pretty substantial increase from 170Mbps in 2023. Figures now show that 18.3 million homes and businesses can now access full-fibre broadband speeds via BT-owned Openreach alone.

While 300Mbps should be more than enough bandwidth for busy households, Community Fibre offers a lightning-fast 1Gbps package capable of downloading a feature-lenth film in High Definition in under 40 seconds.

That's ideal for those who with dozens of smart devices — from video doorbells to Wi-Fi-enabled thermostats — who don't want to see a second of buffering when streaming video, playing games online, or making video calls during peak times.

Community Fibre is a local full-fibre supplier that provides fast internet connections to hundreds of thousands across London

Community Fibre offers much, much faster speeds than that, topping out at 5Gbps in some areas. That's a whopping 22x faster than the average household broadband connection in the UK.

If you haven't heard of Community Fibre before, this full-fibre brand has been named by consumer champion Which? as the UK’s Greatest of Great Value Broadband Provider.

It's also picked up gongs for Consistent Quality, Download Speed, Upload Speed, Reliability Experience and Video Experience on Opensignal’s London Regional Fixed Broadband Experience Table.

What's the catch?

Unlike rivals BT, EE, Sky, Vodafone, TalkTalk and others, Community Fibre isn't available nationwide. Instead, the full-fibre supplier is only found in large swathes of the capital city, with infrastructure in over 25 London boroughs, including Barnet, Bexley, Brent, Camden, City of London, Croydon, Ealing, Greenwich, Hackney, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hounslow, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Kingston upon Thames, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Richmond upon Thames, Southwark, Sutton, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Wandsworth and Westminster.

In total, Community Fibre can be accessed by 1.3 million London homes and businesses, with roughly 400,000 paying subscribers choosing to take advantage of these full‑fibre speeds, according to figured from earlier this year.

A postcode checker on the Community Fibre website will confirm whether it's available at your address. The start-up is expanding all the time, so there's a chance it'll add your property in the near future.
