Up to £300 of your costs could be covered

With annual price rises from (almost) all broadband suppliers, it doesn't take long with the same company before your monthly outgoings really increase. Once your initial contract term has come to an end — usually 12- or 24-months — you can switch to another broadband supplier without fees or headache.

Can't wait that long? Some providers, like EE, will offer to cover your early termination fees up to £300 so you can make a switch to one of its Black Friday discounts before they're gone. Sky has a similar offer on its lowest-ever broadband deals, but it tops-out at £200.

If your eyebrows shot up the last time you saw the Direct Debit for your household Wi-Fi connection, Black Friday is the perfect time to switch to an affordable broadband deal. Full-fibre suppliers compete to outdo one another with the lowest prices or best giveaways.

And when it comes to broadband deals, it doesn't get much better than free internet.

That's exactly what Community Fibre is offering at the moment. New broadband customers will be treated to six months of free full-fibre broadband simply by switching to Community Fibre. And it really is free. Switchers who are treated to six months of free broadband will also see no set-up fees as well as a Wi-Fi router included at no cost when they join.

This lesser-known broadband supplier is offering free broadband for the first three months of your new contract, a limited-time offer that it claims will save switchers from BT, Sky, Virgin Media O2, and other national providers as much as £505. Community Fibre promises a speedy switchover too, offering to get you plugged into its full-fibre cables in as little as two days.

This Black Friday deal isn't around for long. Community Fibre will dish-out free broadband for six months across all of its 12- and 24-month broadband packages if you sign-up before 23.59pm on December 2, 2025.

Already with Community Fibre? Sadly, there's no way for existing users to unlock the free broadband deal, but if you'll be treated to a £100 Gift Card each for you and a friend when making a referral to Community Fibre during the Black Friday sale.

If you haven't heard of Community Fibre before, this full-fibre brand has been named by consumer champion Which? as the UK’s Greatest of Great Value Broadband Provider.

It's also picked up gongs for Consistent Quality, Download Speed, Upload Speed, Reliability Experience and Video Experience on Opensignal’s London Regional Fixed Broadband Experience Table.

Pay £0 for 6 months of Community Fibre full-fibre broadband

If you switch to Community Fibre before 11.59pm on December 2, you can enjoy £0 broadband for the next six months. When your monthly internet bills eventually begin, you'll only pay £23 for 300Mbps — that's faster than the average household broadband speed in the UK. There's no set-up fee either, and Community Fibre will send a Wi-Fi router to ensure wireless coverage throughout your home

What's the catch?

Unlike rivals BT, EE, Sky, Vodafone, TalkTalk and others, Community Fibre isn't available nationwide. Instead, the full-fibre supplier is only found in large swathes of the capital city, with infrastructure in over 25 London boroughs, including Barnet, Bexley, Brent, Camden, City of London, Croydon, Ealing, Greenwich, Hackney, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hounslow, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Kingston upon Thames, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Richmond upon Thames, Southwark, Sutton, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Wandsworth and Westminster.

In total, Community Fibre can be accessed by 1.3 million London homes and businesses, with roughly 400,000 paying subscribers choosing to take advantage of these full‑fibre speeds, according to figures from earlier this year.

A postcode checker on the Community Fibre website will confirm whether it's available at your address. The start-up is expanding all the time, so there's a chance it'll add your property in the near future.

Community Fibre isn't the only broadband supplier that's offering a decent deal this Black Friday.

If you're not at the end of your current contract, there's still a chance you can switch to the latest EE broadband deals — with the BT-owned brand covering the shortfall up to £300 on early exit fees

EE PRESS OFFICE

As well as offering to pay £300 towards any early exit fees, EE has slashed prices across its full-fibre lineup. EE Full Fibre 300 returns to the firm's lowest-ever price at £30.99 per month. For that, you'll enjoy average download speeds of 300Mbps — that's speedier than 223Mbps, the average household broadband speed recorded by Ofcom late last year.

You'll be signing up for a 24-month contract. But there's a minimum speed guarantee of 250Mbps. If you're having trouble and EE can't hit that threshold within 30 days, you can leave your contract early without penalty.

If you want faster downloads, EE Full Fibre 500 has also plummeted back down to a previous record low. "

Our best price is back," EE announces on the checkout page for this £32.99 bundle. As the name suggests, this bolsters EE broadband speeds to 500Mbp, with a faster speed guarantee too.

EE will pay £300 to cover your costs when you switch to its 'best EVER' broadband prices

It's a double-whammy from EE this Black Friday. Not only has the BT-owned company slashed prices down to its lowest-ever monthly costs, but if you're currently in a contract, EE will pay £300 to cover any early termination fees and switching costs. If you plump for the flagship 1.6Gbps full-fibre plan from EE, you'll be treated to its Wi-Fi 7 router at no cost. If you already have an EE phone plan, you'll be upgraded to unlimited 5G data when you add broadband to your account

EE Broadband

For that, you'll pay £32.99 per month.

If you already have an EE SIM card inside your phone, you'll automatically qualify for EE One, which upgrades whatever plan you're on to unlimited mobile data, slashes up to £20 off new or upgraded mobile plans, and reduces the contract to a 30-day rolling deal.

EE's speediest broadband is Full Fibre 1.6GB Broadband and ships with the latest Wi-Fi 7-enabled router, dubbed EE Smart Hub Pro and Smart WiFi Pro, delivering high speeds and a more reliable connection – plus EE’s WiFi Enhancer, which optimises your broadband by prioritising traffic for specific activities.

For Black Friday, this flagship plan has been slashed to £49.99 per month — the lowest-ever price.

EE isn't the only broadband brand that's offering its lowest prices this Black Friday. Sky Broadband has slashed its full-fibre plans down to just £25 for 150Mbps. Even better, the satellite firm has waived its set-up costs, so you'll spend £0 for your new Wi-Fi router and engineer appointments to make sure you're up and running with your new connection.

Sky Broadband 500Mbps has dropped to £29 per month too. That's around 2x faster than the average household broadband speed in the UK, so you shouldn't suffer any stuttering or loading when trying to stream the latest must-see boxset.

Sky Broadband plummets to 'lowest EVER prices' this Black Friday

Sky has slashed full-fibre broadband prices for its Black Friday sale. Its 150Mbps package has dropped to £25, which is the lowest ever price. If you want something a little speedier, Sky is offering 500Mbps download speeds for £29 per month. Both of these packages are the lowest ever price from the broadcaster and come with £0 set-up fees
