Hunting for the best Galaxy Z Fold 6 deals?
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 6 on July 10 with upgraded cameras, a boxier design, and enhanced AI capabilities, including real-time translation, and automatic formatting of your handwritten notes. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip, the new handset arrives with a performance boost, especially for those who play mobile games. Despite all of this, the new flagship device is lighter and thinner than its predecessors.
Samsung increased the price tag of its flagship foldable by £50 with the arrival of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which now starts from £1,799. At that price, you'll need to find a decent discount on the Samsung smartphone.
Although the Galaxy Z Fold 6 doesn't launch until July 24 in the UK, there are some solid preorder deals. Placing an order before the release date means you'll be one of the first to take delivery of the new handset when it launches. Samsung also offers several incentives to drive up the volume of preorders.
Buying from the Samsung store has a few advantages. First up, the South Korean firm only offers its new Crafted Black and White colourways from its own high street and online stores.
Samsung has supercharged its trade-in deals, with discounts of up to £640 available. Of course, the exact discount will vary based on the make and model of the smartphone. However, Samsung will guarantee £100 off the Galaxy Z Fold 6 when you trade-in any phone in any condition.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 is available in Silver Shadow, Pink, and Navy from all UK retailers and mobile networks

That means you can send a Nokia 3310 with a smashed screen that won't turn on and you'll still see the price of your Galaxy Z Fold 6 order drop by £100 down to at least £1,699. That makes it cheaper than its predecessor when it launched last summer — cancelling out the price rise this time around.
Samsung will send freepost packaging for your trade-in, so there's no postage and packaging cost to worry about. You'll be able to transfer across your text messages, contacts, photos, and apps before sending off your current phone to the engineers at Samsung.

Samsung has reworked the design of its new Galaxy Z Fold handset and fitted a faster processor to enable a number of the Galaxy AI tricks that it first introduced with the Galaxy S24 line-up earlier this year

Lastly, Samsung is offering a one-year subscription to Care+, which includes worldwide accidental damage cover, or a free Galaxy S Pen protective case worth £89. The latter shields the handset and includes a recessed slot to hold the bundled S Pen digital stylus, which offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity to mimic a real pen.
Samsung isn't the only one giving away this handy protective case as a perk with preorders. Currys will also bundle the Samsung-designed case with an in-built slot for the S Pen stylus as well as Galaxy Buds3 wireless 'buds worth £219. The deal is available online or can be bought and collected in-store.
Unfolded, the Gaalxy Z Fold 6 has an expansive, tablet-like 7.6-inch AMOLED display with an improved peak brightness of 2,600nits

If you're looking to purchase the handset SIM-free, which means it can be paired with any existing SIM deal from all major UK networks, Currys and Samsung aren't the only retailers with preorder deals.
Buying the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SIM-free means you'll be able to pair your shiny new Samsung phone with any data plan — including the SIM already inside your current phone, or a SIM-only deal from any UK network.
This offers more flexibility than being locked into a 36-month contract, although you'll need to pay for the privilege. Since you're paying for the handset outright, it’s a bigger initial outlay than spreading the cost with a pay monthly contract. To ease the pain, some retailers do offer interest-free payment plans.
Most of the biggest UK retailers stock the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The RRP for the all-new flagship phone is —
While UK prices remain consistent across all retailers, there are still reasons to pick one store over another. For example, ordering the Fold 6 direct from Samsung means you’ll get the choice of two additional colourways: Crafted Black and White.
Every other retailer has a choice of Silver Shadow, Pink, and Navy. That includes all UK mobile networks.
Elsewhere, Prime members will be eligible for next-day delivery from Amazon at no extra cost, AO.com offers exclusive perks to those registered for its membership scheme, and Argos offers same-day collection in some stores across the UK.
At £1,799, purchasing the phone SIM-free might be a tall order. However, a number of these retailers offer interest-free payment plans, which break up the cost into monthly instalments — similar to what you'd expect from a pay monthly deal with a mobile network.
If you don't already have a SIM-only deal, you'll also need to sort calls, text messages, and 5G mobile data to make the most of the new features in your Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Mobile networks like EE, Vodafone, and Sky Mobile have all launched preorder deals of their own on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Ordering the foldable on a pay monthly deal, you'll benefit from additional perks and gifts.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 is available from the most popular mobile networks in the UK, including EE, Three, Vodafone, Sky Mobile, and O2. Most of these deals arrive with either a 36- or 48-month contract, reflecting the mammoth upfront cost of the handset and the slower pace at which most people upgrade their device. Some of these networks will let you switch to a new contract sooner at no cost.
Unlike buying the Galaxy Z Fold 6 upfront, there's no expensive initial outlay. Instead, the cost of the foldable phone, calls, text messages, and 5G mobile data — as well as any extra perks, like Disney+ and Apple Music subscriptions — will all be bundled into the same monthly fee.
For a fair comparison between Galaxy Z Fold 6 deals, we’ve decided to pit deals with between 20-30GB of 5G mobile data against one another. That’s a decent monthly allowance that means you’ll be able to stream songs and podcasts, get turn-by-turn directions from Google Maps, and make video calls on WhatsApp, without worrying about running out of 5G.
Of course, those who want to binge boxsets from Netflix on the train to work every morning will need more 5G data, while others might be able to save money with a smaller data allowance. But it’s a pretty decent middle-ground that should work for most people, especially those looking to take advantage of all of the exciting new features built into the latest foldable from Samsung.
Data allowance: 25GB of 5G
EE is offering 50% off your mobile data, calls and text messages for the first six months of your pay monthly contract. EE will also bundle a pair of its brand-new Galaxy Buds3 Pro (worth £219) for free with every Galaxy Z Fold 6 order.
Data allowance: 25GB of 5G
There's no shortage of freebies when it comes to the latest Galaxy Z Fold 6 deals with Sky Mobile. Add the foldable to your shopping basket now, and you'll be treated to a Galaxy Watch7 (worth £289) announced at the same Galaxy Unpacked keynote as the new flagship folding phone as well as a protective with a built-in holster for the newest Samsung S Pen stylus (worth £89.99).
Data allowance: 50GB of 5G
Vodafone only offers data plans with either 8GB or 50GB of 5G mobile data — so we plumped for the 50GB package as the former really isn't enough to make the most of the features built into this cutting-edge foldable. The network has cut £432 from some data plans, although you'll need to pay extra for EU roaming.
Data allowance: 25GB of 5G
Order before August 7 and O2 will offer you a pair of the newly-launched Galaxy Buds3 Pro (worth £219) for a one-off payment of £20. Like other networks, it's supercharged the trade-in offers, with an extra £100 discount available when you trade-in your existing handset.
Samsung unveiled its latest foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, at a Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris. Five years after the introduction of its first foldable, Samsung's new model is slimmer and lighter, with a more symmetrical design, thanks to a tweaked aspect ratio on the foldable touchscreen display.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 retains the same 7.6-inch foldable display as last year but has expanded the frame 2.7mm wider and reduced the height by 1.4mm, resulting in a more square-like shape for the tablet-sized screen. This change provides a more immersive experience for gaming and media consumption, with reduced black bars on the screen. The device is also 24g lighter than the Fold 4, improving its portability.
Samsung has adjusted the overall footprint of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 by a few millimetres, but completely altered the symmetry of the handset when unfolded to reveal the full size of the AMOLED screen

The display has been boosted to a maximum of 2,600 nits, ensuring visibility even in bright sunlight.
Samsung has also refined the hardware with a more modern, angular, and boxier appearance.
With the main display folded away, the exterior cover screen takes centre stage. This time around, Samsung has expanded the panel to 6.3-inches and used Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for better durability.
Under the bonnet, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset, offering a 14% CPU speed increase, 25% GPU boost, and 41% NPU improvement compared to the Fold 5. This chipset is optimized for AI processing, enhancing the device's overall performance and gaming capabilities. Additionally, a larger vapour chamber improves cooling during intensive use.
You'll need to purchase the Samsung S Pen Case (RRP £89) for the latest iteration of the digital stylus, which slots into the back of the protective case for safekeeping when out-and-about

Galaxy Z Fold 6 includes several AI features, such as Circle to Search, which allows users to draw a circle around items on the screen to initiate a Google search. This feature also supports real-time translation from the viewfinder, photographs, or web pages.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 supports the S Pen, stored in a dedicated protective case (sold separately), and introduces Sketch To Image, an AI tool that transforms doodles into polished artwork.
A new Interpreter mode leverages the foldable form factor for real-time conversation translation across the internal and external screens. Live Translate extends this functionality to incoming and outgoing calls, even within third-party apps like WhatsApp and Zoom. Note Assist in Samsung Notes can summarize lengthy notes, format handwriting, and transcribe voice recordings into bullet points.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is available in Silver Shadow, Pink, Navy, and exclusively Crafted Black and White from your local Samsung store or online.
