For a limited time, you can trade-in any broken phone for £100 discount

Hunting for the best Galaxy S24 Ultra deals?

Samsung announced its latest flagship during a Galaxy Unpacked event, held on January 17, 2024. The all-singing, all-dancing smartphone boasts a durable new titanium case, a 200-megapixel camera, and some clever new AI tricks to remove people from the background of your photos.

We've got a rundown of everything new with the Galaxy S24 Ultra later in this guide. But if you're ready to place an order, there are some incredible Galaxy S24 Ultra deals available today.

For a limited time, Samsung will include a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet (worth £349) and an annual subscription to Disney+ (worth £79.90) with every Galaxy S24 Ultra order. These freebies apply no matter where you decide to purchase your Galaxy S24 Ultra, so there's no need to order from a specific retailer. Simply send proof of purchase to Samsung and you'll be sent a code for an annual Disney+ subscription, or free Galaxy tablet.

Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the most expensive handsets ever launched by Samsung.

Luckily, Samsung has supercharged its trade-in offers to discount the cost of the handset. For a limited time, Samsung will guarantee £100 off the Galaxy S24 Ultra when you trade-in any phone in any condition.

You could send a Nokia 3310 to Samsung HQ with a broken screen and depleted battery and you'll still get a £100 discount on your new purchase. If you have a more recent smartphone that you're happy to part with, Samsung is offering discounts of up to £395 available on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Of course, the exact discount will depend on the make and model of the handset you trade-in.

Whether you're taking advantage of the £100 guaranteed trade-in or £395 off, you'll receive the discount immediately at checkout, so there's no cashback or anything finicky to worry about. Samsung will send a Freepost envelope to your address to mail off your old phone, but you'll have a week to back up data and transfer everything over to your shiny new smartphone.

Lastly, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra is available in Titanium Yellow, Titanium Violet, Titanium Black, and Titanium Grey from every UK retailer and mobile network, Samsung has three additional colours exclusive to its store — Titanium Blue, Titanium Green, and Titanium Orange.

Want to order Galaxy S24 or Galaxy S24+ instead? We've rounded up the best Galaxy S24 deals in a separate guide.

Best Galaxy S24 Ultra SIM-free deals

Buying the Galaxy S24 Ultra SIM-free allows you to pair your shiny new Samsung phone with any data plan — including the SIM inside your existing phone or a SIM-only deal from any UK network.

This offers more flexibility than being locked into a 36-month contract, although you'll need to pay for the privilege. Since you're paying for the handset outright, it’s a bigger initial outlay than spreading the cost with a pay monthly contract. To ease the pain, some retailers do offer interest-free payment plans.

Several online retailers stock the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The RRP for the all-new flagship phone is —

  • Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra | £1,249 for 256GB of storage
  • Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra | £1,349 for 512GB of storage
  • Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra | £1,549 for 1TB of storage

While UK prices remain consistent across all retailers, there are still reasons to pick one store over another. Ordering Galaxy S24 Ultra direct from Samsung means you’ll get the choice of three exclusive colourways: Titanium Blue, Titanium Green, and Titanium Orange.

Every other retailer has a choice of Titanium Grey, Titanium Black, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow on offer for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. That includes all UK mobile networks.

Order from John Lewis and you'll benefit from two years of hardware warranty — compared with just one year from other stores. Meanwhile, Prime members who order at Amazon enjoy next-day delivery at no additional cost.

No matter which of these UK retailers you decide to pick, you'll be able to claim a few bonuses from Samsung, including a one-year subscription to Disney+. To redeem the offer, you'll just need to upload proof of purchase to this webpage.

Best Galaxy S24 Ultra pay monthly deals

Buying the Galaxy S24 Ultra as part of a pay monthly deal means you won’t have to spend as much upfront, plus it can unlock some additional perks. Loyalty schemes from the likes of O2 and Three offer discounted coffees, gig tickets, and cinema tickets each month.

Samsung will still offer a one-year subscription to Disney+ for free when you sign up for a pay monthly contract with the Galaxy S24 Ultra. You simply need to provide proof of purchase on this webpage.

For a fair comparison between Galaxy S24 Ultra pay monthly deals, we’ve decided to pit deals with between 20-30GB of 5G mobile data against one another. That’s a decent monthly allowance that means you’ll be able to stream songs and podcasts, get turn-by-turn directions from Google Maps, and make video calls on WhatsApp, without worrying about running out of 5G.

Of course, those who want to binge boxsets from Netflix on the train to work every morning will need more 5G data, while others might be able to save money with a smaller data allowance. But it’s a pretty decent middle-ground that should work for most people, especially those looking to take advantage of all of the exciting new features built into the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

What’s new with Galaxy S24 Ultra?

Galaxy S24 Ultra follows in the footsteps of the Galaxy S23 Ultra with a quad-camera capable fitted with a 100x Space Zoom and 200-megapixel main camera. New for this year, Samsung has used titanium for the frame of the handset, which Samsung says is more durable and lighter.

Samsung has focused heavily on Artificial Intelligence (AI) with its new Galaxy S24 Ultra, which can be used to translate incoming phone calls in real-time, summarise lengthy notes, write your text messages, extend the background and move people in your photos.

Samsung’s Knox security system has received an upgrade with the latest entries in the Galaxy S series too, offering phone owners the option to ditch their password in favour of a fingerprint or face scan on the Galaxy S24 Ultra to login to their favourite website.

Samsung is using a minimum of 40% recycled steel in the speakers of the Galaxy S24 Ultra and a minimum of 10% recycled plastic in the side and volume keys. Every phone ships in a packaging box made from 100% recycled paper material.

SAMSUNG PRESS OFFICe

As well as relying on more recycled materials, Samsung will dramatically extend the lifecycle of the Galaxy S24 Ultra with a guaranteed seven generations of Android upgrades and security updates, bringing exciting new features and protection for years to come.

Until now, Samsung only guaranteed four years of updates with its flagship Galaxy S series.

The high-end Ultra model is compatible with the S Pen, which can be used to make handwritten notes, draw, sign PDFs, and annotate screenshots.

The expansive 6.8-inch AMOLED display (that’s the same size as last year) has a variable refresh rate, from 1Hz up to 120Hz. The latter provides silky-smooth scrolling, system animations, and fast-paced gameplay.

Meanwhile, the 1Hz refresh rate is designed to preserve battery life, especially with the always-on mode, which offers glanceable notifications as well as the current date and time.

It’s also the brightest screen we’ve seen on a Galaxy smartphone, topping out at 2,600-nits, which should make everything easily visible on-screen even when outside on the brightest summers day.

Galaxy S24 Ultra is widely available in Titanium Grey, Titanium Black, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow. Samsung has a couple of exclusive colourways only available in its online and high street stores, including Titanium Blue, Titanium Green, and Titanium Orange.
