Novak Djokovic issued an apology to journalists after arriving late to his French Open press conference following his match against Corentin Moutet.
The Serbian tennis star required medical treatment during the encounter, which caused the delay in meeting the press.
"I'm sorry for that," Djokovic said, acknowledging the inconvenience caused by his tardiness. The 24-time Grand Slam winner had faced fitness issues during the match that necessitated assistance from a physiotherapist on court.
The delay was attributed to the time needed to address his health concerns after securing victory against the French opponent in what proved to be a physically demanding encounter.
