A 25-year-old tennis professional has died after her father shot her three times at their home in Gurugram.
Radhika Yadav was transported to hospital following the shooting but died from her injuries.
The incident occurred after a disagreement about Yadav's professional activities, specifically her management of a tennis academy.
Police have charged Deepak Yadav with his daughter's murder.

The shooting took place at the family's residence with no other relatives present during the fatal confrontation.
Medical staff alerted authorities after Yadav died from her wounds at the hospital where she had been taken for emergency treatment.

According to Station House Officer Inspector Vinod Kumar, Deepak Yadav had become increasingly distressed by comments from neighbours about his financial reliance on his daughter.
"He (Deepak) had been upset for a while as he was being taunted by locals over his daughter's income. He was troubled by their remarks - they would keep saying the house is running on her money, and he is too dependent on that," the inspector told The Indian Express.
The father had repeatedly demanded that Radhika cease her work at the tennis academy, but she had declined to comply with his wishes.
"He had asked her (Radhika) several times earlier to stop working at the academy, but she refused. He could not take it anymore," Inspector Kumar stated.
Yadav competed in the International Tennis Federation circuit, participating in 36 singles matches and seven doubles competitions throughout her career.
The ITF's records indicate her last competitive appearance was in March 2024.

Despite stepping away from tournament play more than a year ago, the young athlete had redirected her efforts towards coaching by establishing her own tennis academy.
This venture became the focal point of the fatal dispute with her father.
Members of India's tennis community have reacted with disbelief to news of her death, remembering Yadav as a dedicated professional.
She had represented India in various national and international competitions during her playing career.
Police have confirmed that Deepak Yadav acknowledged committing the crime when questioned by officers.
Authorities are continuing their enquiries into the full circumstances surrounding the killing.
Reports indicate that Deepak's earnings came from rental income generated by several modest properties he owned.
Some media outlets have suggested additional factors may have contributed to his anger, including unconfirmed allegations about his daughter's social media presence, though police have not substantiated these claims.
Fellow tennis players and coaches have expressed profound shock at the tragedy, offering condolences and describing Yadav as an industrious individual who had made significant contributions to Indian tennis.
