Carlos Alcaraz has disclosed that he enjoyed a round of golf with Roger Federer whilst both were present in Melbourne for the Australian Open.
The world No 1 shared the news during an on-court interview with former Australian Open semi-finalist Wally Masur following his second-round victory.
When asked about Federer's abilities on the course, Alcaraz was effusive in his praise.
"It's as beautiful as the tennis. I'm not surprised, either. It's unbelievable. He does everything in a really beautiful style," the Spaniard said.

The 22-year-old added that the Swiss maestro possesses "a really beautiful swing" and performs exceptionally well on the fairways.
Remarkably, Federer has only taken up golf within the past two years, yet he already outperforms Alcaraz, who began playing as a teenager and has five years of experience with the sport.
The 44-year-old Swiss legend, exactly twice the age of his Spanish counterpart, has proven a quick study.

Andy Murray, who retired from professional tennis 18 months ago, has also developed a passion for golf and harbours an unusual ambition within the sport.
Speaking on The Romesh Ranganathan Show in November, the former world No 1 revealed he is contemplating a career as a caddie for a touring professional.
"I love golf, and if you love that sport, then I think it would be a great job," Murray explained.
He expressed particular enthusiasm about supporting a top player during pivotal moments and contributing to their decision-making on the course.

"Dream pro to caddie for would be Robert MacIntyre," he said.
"Imagine carrying Robert MacIntyre's bag when he wins The Open or something like that. That would be a dream job."
Regarding his own playing ambitions, Murray maintains far more realistic expectations.
The three-time Grand Slam champion has no aspirations of competing at The Open Championship itself.
"I don't have ambitions of playing in The Open," Murray stated at Wentworth last year. Instead, he hopes to eventually reach a standard where he could attempt regional qualifying rounds.
"I want to try and play in like the regional qualifying at some stage. A couple of my friends have done it, and it would just be a fun thing to do if you got to the level where you're able to do that," he explained.
