Andy Murray has broken his silence about the Emma Raducanu controversy that overshadowed his final Wimbledon appearance, revealing they've sorted things out through messages since the tournament.
The tennis legend confirmed there's no bad blood between them after Raducanu's last-minute withdrawal from their planned mixed doubles partnership at Wimbledon 2024.
"We exchanged multiple messages since Wimbledon and things were fine after we cleared everything up," Murray told The Sunday Times in a recent interview.
The incident sparked intense debate when Raducanu pulled out of what would have been Murray's farewell match at SW19, but it turns out the pair have put the drama behind them.
The controversy erupted when Raducanu withdrew from their scheduled mixed doubles match, citing wrist stiffness as the reason.
She'd reached the singles third round and went on to make the quarter-finals before losing to Lulu Sun.

Her decision not to partner Murray in his final Wimbledon appearance triggered a wave of criticism from tennis fans who felt the British legend had been denied a proper send-off.

Murray explained that his relationship with Raducanu was never particularly close to begin with, so the incident hasn't actually changed their dynamic.
"Emma's not someone that beforehand we were communicating all the time or discussing ideas about her game and things like that, so that hasn't changed," he revealed.
The three-time Grand Slam champion stressed he was genuinely happy with how his career ended, getting to share the court with his brother Jamie in his final Wimbledon match.
"It was obviously a pretty emotional time for me and everyone around me, so it was hard but, like I said, I was really happy with the way that my career finished," Murray reflected.
