Cromlix, the five-star Perthshire hotel owned by Andy and Kim Murray, has swung back into the black following a challenging period that saw the business accumulate losses exceeding £1 million.
Newly filed accounts with Companies House reveal the luxury establishment recorded a profit of £193,379 for the financial year ending March 2025.
This represents the first profitable year since 2022 for the property, which the Wimbledon champion originally acquired for £1.8 million back in 2013.
The positive financial news arrives just weeks after the couple announced a temporary closure for substantial redevelopment works.

|The hotel officially closed its doors on 4 January.
The tennis legend and his wife assumed direct control of day-to-day operations in 2023, a decision that initially proved financially troublesome.
Upon taking the reins, the couple closed Cromlix for three months to undertake a comprehensive restyling of the property.
The subsequent trading periods delivered disappointing results, with the hotel posting consecutive annual losses of £919,572 and £369,045.
These combined deficits of nearly £1.3 million raised questions about the viability of the venture under the couple's stewardship.

The ambitious renovation project encompasses the construction of two new restaurants, a wellness facility, and three additional suites.
Building work commenced in October, with the Kings Group from Doune leading the development alongside Perthshire architect Fergus Purdie and interior designer Suzanne Garuda.
The principal new dining space will seat up to 80 guests whilst offering views across the estate, with the kitchen being relocated and upgraded to accommodate greater capacity.
Kim Murray expressed her enthusiasm when the plans were unveiled: "I'm really excited about this next phase for Cromlix. The Glasshouse, our current restaurant, has been doing really well and is fully booked most of the time, but the space lacks a bit of personality and doesn't deliver aesthetically."
She added that executive head chef James Mearing, appointed earlier in the year, would have the opportunity to "put his stamp on this new food experience at Cromlix."

| PAThe existing Glasshouse restaurant will continue hosting afternoon teas and various events following the reopening.
Cromlix is expected to welcome guests once again in May 2026, with the booking team and online shop remaining operational throughout the closure period.
The hotel represents just one element of the now-retired Murray's business portfolio.
