The 2024 LIV Golf season gets underway this weekend with all rosters now announced for the campaign.

LIV Golf have now completed its team rosters for the 2024 season with both Adrian Meronk and Lucas Herbert joining Tyrrell Hatton as late signings to the Saudi-backed league.

Jon Rahm shocked the golfing world over the festive period as he completed an eye-watering £450million move from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf.

The Spaniard was forming LIV's 13th franchise, Legion XIII, but his team-mates had not been confirmed up until earlier this week.

World No 16 Tyrrell Hatton signed a deal reported to be worth £50m to join Rahm's LIV team with Caleb Surratt and Kieran Vincent completing the quartet.

There was only a few spaces left to be confirmed before the season-opening event in Mexico.

Team Cleeks, headed by Martin Kaymer, have added Meronk to their roster along with Richard Bland and Kalle Samooja.

Meanwhile, the Rippers team have rounded out an all-Australian cast with Lucas Herbert joining Cameron Smith, Matt Jones and Marc Leishman.

Meronk controversially missed out on a spot in Luke Donald's European team for last year's Ryder Cup.

The Polish golf star had won the Italian Open earlier that year, which was played on the Ryder Cup course, and looked on course for a call up from Donald.

But Meronk was left heartbroken after being told he had missed out on a spot on Europe's side.

Hatton was asked about a possible move to LIV Golf earlier this month while competing at the Dubai Dessert Classic where he gave little away on his plans.

"As of right now, yeah," he originally said when asked whether he was staying, adding: "I’d say there’s several people who have had conversations [with LIV].

"I think that’s part and parcel of golf at the moment, but I’m quite happy playing the PGA Tour and DP World Tour. There’s a lot of people that have [spoken to LIV] and I don’t think there is anything to shy away from."

But Rahm wanted to team back up with his Ryder Cup team-mate from last year's event in Rome and has managed to convince the Englishman to make the move.

The European duo won both the foursome matches they played together at the 2023 Ryder Cup as Europe romped to victory.

They're now set to form another partnership at LIV with Rahm excited about the team that he's built.

He said: “We’ve come a long way in a short period of time and are extremely proud of the team and brand we are building.

"As we were developing the team’s brand it became clear that I wanted to fight alongside a group of guys who aligned perfectly with what the team stands for.

"Tyrrell is a fierce competitor, proven champion, and of course my Ryder Cup teammate.

"Caleb is one of the brightest next gen stars of the game. And Kieran is a steady, talented ball striker who earned his promotion to LIV and is elevating his game every day.”
