A promising Spanish motocross talent has died at the age of 17 during a private training session on Sunday.
Enzo Badenas lost his life at the Red Sand Park circuit in Castellon, located in eastern Spain.
Badenas had established himself as a key figure within Spain's national motocross squad, claiming the Spanish 85cc championship title in 2022.
Tributes have poured in for the young rider, born in Gandia, Valencia province, on 24 January 2008.

The youngster was developing his career in the EMX125 Championship throughout the 2025 season.
The incident occurred just three days after the teenager posted an emotional birthday message to his father, in which he said, "I love you".
The Specialised Centre for Motorsport Training (CETDM), headquartered at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Cheste near Valencia, released a statement mourning the loss of the rider.
The centre confirmed that Badenas "suffered a serious accident on Sunday, December 7 while training privately."
