World No 1 Scottie Scheffler has made his feelings clear as he is set to face off against Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele in a blockbuster grouping at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.
The elite trio will compete against each other in the 156-player field as they battle for glory in the year's second major championship.
McIlroy enters the tournament having already claimed The Players Championship and Masters titles this year, whilst Schauffele arrives as the reigning US PGA champion after capturing two majors last season.
Scheffler, fresh from victory at the Byron Nelson, will be looking to add the PGA Championship to his impressive resume after narrowly missing out to Brooks Koepka in 2023.

The trio are scheduled to tee off at 1.22pm on Thursday and then at 7:47pm on Friday.
The high-profile grouping will be the centre of attention amongst a field that includes 16 LIV Golf competitors.
McIlroy boasts an impressive track record at Quail Hollow.
Meanwhile, Schauffele is set to host his champions dinner, complete with a special gift this week, adding to the significance of the occasion.

Scheffler has embraced the challenge of competing alongside such accomplished players: "I'm playing with two guys that are playing some of the best golf in the world.
"Xander won two majors last year, and Rory already won THE PLAYERS and the Masters this year so he's playing some fantastic golf.
"Yeah, it should be a lot of fun. I've seen that pairing before, and we have a good time out there, and it's competitive."

The world No 1 values these high-profile matchups, saying: "I think when I look back on my career, these will be some of the fondest memories getting to play with some of the best players in the world and compete to try to win tournaments."
Despite his double victory at the Masters, Scheffler has yet to claim the PGA Championship trophy. He came close at Oak Hill last year, but Koepka emerged victorious.
Scheffler remarked about his near misses: "Just a couple shots here and there.

"I was close at Oak Hill the year Brooks won. That was as close as I remember being to winning this tournament."
Scheffler remains optimistic about his chances at Quail Hollow, however: "We're always playing a great golf course, and same thing this week, another really good golf course, and should be a good test of golf, and I'm looking forward to getting the week going."
Scheffler's recent triumph at the Byron Nelson has boosted his confidence heading into the PGA Championship, and the American believes his latest victory could provide valuable momentum.
"It would be silly to say that I can't ride the positive momentum from a good week like that," he continued.
"To finish off that tournament the way I did and have it not really be too close on the back nine, I played some really nice golf.
"I feel like my game is in a good spot. I think it would be silly to say I can't ride a little bit of that momentum going into this tournament."
