British golf star reveals her personal invite from Donald Trump after snubbing US President

Charley Hull has revealed that US President Donald Trump has invited her to play a round of golf after the two met at Wednesday’s state banquet at Windsor Castle, an evening the LPGA star described as 'really special'.
Hull, 29, was one of the select few sporting guests at the lavish dinner hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla in Trump’s honour.
The president, 79, attended with First Lady Melania, his daughter Tiffany Trump and her husband Michael Boulos.
Golfing royalty Sir Nick Faldo was also among those present, reflecting Trump’s long-standing love of the sport.

Hull, fresh from winning her first LPGA Tour title in more than three years at the Kroger Queen City Championship, revealed that the pair discussed golf during the banquet — and that Trump is eager to arrange a game before the end of the year.
Furthermore, she also revealed they'd intended to play golf together before but she turned down the chance because she was going on holiday instead.
"I spoke to him last night and he has invited me [to play]," Hull told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“He has said he wants to sort a game out. That is pretty cool.

"Last year he reached out actually to my agent and he wanted to play at the end of the year but I think I was going on holiday.
"We spoke about it last night and we are really going to try and sort a game out before the end of the year which will be pretty cool."
Hull said she spent several minutes chatting with Trump, describing him as 'very engaging' and praising his knowledge of the women’s game.
"He is a lovely man and I really got on with him," the golfer added.

“I will look forward to playing golf with him and he was very engaging with everyone.
"We were just talking about golf and he knows a few players on the LPGA Tour and some of the guys as well.”
Hull’s invitation to the state banquet marks another milestone in a career that has seen her become one of Britain’s most recognisable female golfers.
Known for her aggressive style and candid personality, she has also gained a reputation as one of the LPGA’s most marketable stars.

She arrived at Windsor Castle looking every inch the star away from the fairway, dazzling in a gold halter-neck gown, accessorised with diamond stud earrings and a chic up-do.
The look was shared with her followers on Instagram, where she gave fans a glimpse behind the scenes of the royal occasion.
Hull’s growing global profile has coincided with a run of strong form.
Her victory last week ended a three-year wait for an LPGA Tour title and solidified her position as one of Europe’s top players ahead of next year’s Solheim Cup.
