England have just two representatives on the list and Real Madrid have four

The world’s most valuable players have been released, with significant changes from last year’s list.

The table takes into account major trophies won, impact on the field and age as main factors.

Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde foots the list in 10th with a monstrous valuation of £110million.

The 26-year-old joined Los Blancos from Penarol in his native Uruguay for a fee of £4million in 2016.

He has since gone on to make 317 appearances in the Spanish capital, gaining a reputation for thunderous long-rage efforts and a strong engine that can see him run extraordinary distances.

Above him in ninth is Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala after his Bundesliga triumphs and exploits for the German national team.

He is joined by Liverpool-bound Florian Wirtz, also a German native, and Barcelona star Pedri who all share a £118m valuation.

Pedri saw his value soar from £101m last year, after playing a starring role in Barcelona’s La Liga victory, along with Spain’s successful Euro 2024 campaign.

Both Pedri and Musiala have come through their respective youth academies, whereas Wirtz joined Leverkusen for a fee of just £150,000 in 2020.

He played a pivotal role in Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga win last year and has contributed over 30 goals and assists this year.

The 22-year-old looks set to complete a move to Merseyside, with Liverpool close to agreeing a fee in the region of £130m for the midfielder.

In sixth, and England’s first admission to the list, is Arsenal star Bukayo Saka with a valuation of £126m.

Despite missing a large portion of the season after tearing his hamstring in December, Saka has firmly remained in the last following a blistering start to the season.

Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior gets into the top five, with a market value of £143m.

The Brazilian star narrowly missed out on the Ballon d’Or to Manchester City’s Rodri this year, as Real Madrid failed to win a major trophy and consequently saw his valuation decrease from £169m the previous year, where he was joint-first.

The 24-year-old still managed 21 goals this campaign and will be hoping the arrival of Trent Alexander-Arnold and new boss Xabi Alonso can turn his Ballon d’Or fortunes around.

Then, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid’s third and fourth submissions to the list, all boast a valuation of £152m.

Despite a lack of silverware, Mbappe enjoyed a stellar debut campaign at the Bernabeu, scoring 43 goals in all competitions and seeing his value rise as a result.

Bellingham keeps the same value as last year, whereas Haaland sees his value fall, previously joined by Vinicius Junior at £169m at the summit of the list.

The Norwegian has endured a difficult campaign in Manchester, as the club failed to win any major silverware for the first time since boss Pep Guardiola’s first season.

The 24-year-old still managed 31 goals in all competitions, although his form and struggles with injuries in the second half of the season will be largely the reason for the decrease.

The top spot will not surprise anyone, with Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal boasting a £169m valuation.

His year has been nothing short of spectacular.

After winning the Euros with Spain, the 17-year-old scored 18 goals and provided 25 assists as Barcelona stormed to a domestic double, just falling short in the Champions League semi-final.

Due to his exploits on the field, Yamal has become a front-runner for the Ballon d’Or this year.

The young Spaniard recently signed a new contract at the Catalan club that will see him earn in excess of £325,000-a-week.

Cole Palmer, Declan Rice, Alexander Isak and Rodri, all plying their trade in England, narrowly missed out on the list.
