Ugly confrontations erupted at Molineux after Wolverhampton Wanderers suffered another damaging defeat on Sunday afternoon.
Manager Vitor Pereira required restraint from multiple players and security personnel when he reacted angrily to abuse from the home crowd.
The Portuguese coach was seen yelling towards supporters gathered at the South Bank following the final whistle.
His furious response came after fans directed hostile chants at both the team and management.

Stadium security and several Wolves players intervened to prevent the situation from escalating further.
The unsavoury incident highlighted the toxic atmosphere that has developed around the struggling West Midlands club.
The dramatic scenes followed a crushing 3-2 loss to Burnley, with Lyle Foster scoring the decisive goal in injury time.
This latest setback means Wolverhampton remain anchored at the foot of the Premier League table.
Nine matches into the campaign, the club has yet to register a victory and finds itself trailing the safety zone by six points. The team has suffered seven defeats during this dismal run.

Supporters voiced their frustration with chants of "you're not fit to wear the shirt" aimed at the players.
The manager faced his own barrage of criticism, with fans singing "you're getting sacked in the morning" as the team approached their section of the ground.
The confrontation marks a stark contrast to September, when Pereira committed his future to Wolverhampton by agreeing terms through to 2028.
That deal followed an impressive rescue act after taking charge last December with the team in 19th position.
During his first campaign, the former Porto manager secured 10 victories from 22 matches, including an impressive sequence of six consecutive wins during March and April. His efforts ultimately preserved the club's Premier League status.
Yet fortunes have dramatically reversed this season. The team's most recent league triumph came against Leicester City six months ago, a 3-0 home victory that now seems a distant memory.

The disciplinary issues extend beyond Sunday's confrontation. On Friday, the Football Association imposed a £15,000 penalty on Pereira for improper conduct during the recent Brighton fixture.
The incident occurred when he booted a spare ball towards the match officials' technical area in frustration.

Despite receiving a red card for his actions, an independent regulatory panel determined that a touchline suspension was not warranted.
Pereira had acknowledged the charge and offered an apology following the match.
Wolves' next fixture takes them to Craven Cottage on Saturday, where they face Fulham, who currently occupy 17th position, three places above the struggling visitors.
