Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung-Min Son has made his feelings clear on the departure of boss Ange Postecoglou.
The South Korean has broken his silence after the Australian boss was dismissed on Friday afternoon.
The 32-year-old Spurs legend took to Instagram to address the dismissal and give Postecoglou a proper send off.
“You’ve changed the trajectory of this club,” Son wrote.
“You believed in yourself, and us, since day one and never wavered for a second. Even when others did.
“You knew what we were capable of all along. You did it your way. And your way brought this club the best night it’s had in decades. We will have those memories for life.
“You trusted me with the captaincy. One of the highest honours of my career.
“It’s been an incredible privilege to learn from your leadership up close, I am a better player and a better person because of you.”

The South Korean ended the emotional message by thanking his former boss, and stating he is a “Tottenham Hotspur legend forever”.
The Spurs skipper had clearly been affected negatively by the decision to let Postecoglou go, and he isn’t the only player.
Pedro Porro has recently gone on record to say the rumours and speculation surrounding the Australian’s future was affecting him.
After the decision, a host of players were quick to post their gratitude on social media, including Dominic Solanke, Micky van de Ven and youngster Lucas Bergvall.

Destiny Udogie included a cryptic message on his Instagram, saying “a lot needs to be said”.
The comments come amid a reported dressing room crisis at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where players feel “angry” at the way the situation has been handled.
Following the departure of club icons Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris just weeks before Postecoglou’s arrival, he made Son club captain almost immediately.

In their first campaign together, Son scored 17 league goals and added a further 10 assists as he fired Tottenham to fifth in the league, a far cry from the eighth they finished the season prior.
Their next season was not so fruitful, with the South Korean scoring just seven league goals as Tottenham fell to a dreadful 17th in the league.
They did, however, end their 17-year wait for a trophy, with Son picking up his first major title, in a night that clearly means the world to both men.
It took over two weeks from the Europa League win for Levy and the board to decide Postecoglou’s future, leading the players to feel he was treated unfairly.
Moving forward, Spurs are advancing in negotiations for Brentford manager Thomas Frank, and are confident a deal can be reached.
If he is to join, the Danish manager will inherit an underperforming, disgruntled side, and will certainly have a job on his hands.
Fortunately, Champions League revenue and a disappointing domestic campaign mean he will be sure to have a mammoth transfer kitty to freshen up the squad for next campaign.
