Thomas Tuchel has, over the years, developed a reputation for being a no-nonsense, straight-talking type of manager.
This has led to success, but also clashes, at European superpowers such as Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain over the years.
The FA knew all about Tuchel, and his somewhat combative personality, when they opted to hire him as England's permanent replacement for Gareth Southgate. Instead of going for somebody who would always toe the line, they opted to roll the dice in the hope that it would lead to the Three Lions finally winning some silverware. It has, after all, been 59 years since that feat was achieved.
What they perhaps didn't anticipate, however, was that Tuchel would let loose right away. After just four matches in the dugout, there's already a sense that the German is in trouble.
Thomas Tuchel recently claimed his own mother found England star Jude Bellingham's behaviour 'repulsive'

Calling out Jude Bellingham, as he did in a spectacular interview with talkSPORT following England's 3-1 defeat to Senegal on Tuesday night, was an unwise move.
Bellingham, towards the end of that fixture, exploded in a fit of rage after England saw a goal chalked off. Levi Colwill was adjudged to have handled the ball and, despite it being a friendly match, Bellingham couldn't contain his frustration.
Tuchel, afterwards, admitted that he liked the Real Madrid star's edge. However, he then sensationally claimed that his own mother could find Bellingham's behaviour on the field 'repulsive' at times.
Holding nothing back, the 51-year-old said: "I see that it [the midfielder's attitude] can create mixed emotions.

"I see this with my parents, with my mum that she sometimes cannot see the nice and well-educated and well-behaved guy that I see and the smile.
"If he smiles, he wins everyone, but sometimes you see the rage, the hunger and the fire and it comes out in a way that can be a bit repulsive.
"For example, for my mother when she sits in front of the TV, I see that, but in general we are very happy to have him, he's a special boy.
"I think he has a certain something. I think he brings an edge, which we welcome and which is needed if we want to achieve big things."

Jude Bellingham lost his cool in the closing stages of England's defeat to Senegal

Bellingham is not, however, a player that war should break out over.
Yes, his attitude at times can leave plenty to be desired. Especially for youngsters watching at home, many of which will watch how the 21-year-old conducts himself and emulate it.
But when it comes to natural talent, there is nobody like Bellingham in the England squad.
He is, despite his young age, already a superstar. Had it not been for him, England would have exited last summer's European Championships far earlier instead of enjoying a run to the final that dared fans to dream.
LATEST SPORTS NEWS:
For Real Madrid, his club, he's already made his mark.
Bellingham was nothing short of outstanding during his maiden season at the Bernabeu, propelling the Spanish titans to LaLiga and Champions League glory at the first time of asking.
Though he was unable to repeat the feat last term, nine goals and eight assists from 31 league matches is nothing to be sniffed at - especially given how he had to adapt following the blockbuster arrival of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
Thomas Tuchel is playing a risky game after publicly calling out England star Jude Bellingham

Tuchel needs everybody pulling together if England are to win the World Cup next summer, which will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Criticising Bellingham so publicly, and bringing his own mother into things, achieves nothing.
Tuchel has started and ended wars in the past. How this newest one plays out will be fascinating to see.
