Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney made an unexpected appearance at the Jose Alvalade Stadium on Friday evening, stealing the spotlight as Sporting Lisbon secured a comfortable 3-0 triumph over Estoril.
The 28-year-old star, best known for her roles in Euphoria, White Lotus and The Housemaid, shocked fans with her surprise visit to the Portuguese capital.

Sweeney appeared delighted as she received the personalised kit, sporting a casual ensemble of cap, hoodie, leather jacket and jeans for the occasion.
The Portuguese club documented her visit extensively, sharing footage of the actress meeting various staff members and capturing her reactions to the stadium surroundings.

The actress posed enthusiastically with club mascot Jubas, leaping into the character's arms for photographs.
She was then given the opportunity to kick a ball around on the turf, clearly relishing the experience as she filmed the views and soaked up the atmosphere.
After finding the back of the net during her impromptu kickabout, Sweeney recreated Bruno Fernandes' trademark celebration, placing her hands over her ears in a nod to the former Sporting midfielder now at Manchester United.
The actress's appearance sparked considerable reaction on social media, with supporters expressing their delight at the unexpected celebrity visit.

Not everyone understood the Hollywood connection, however, with one bewildered fan simply writing: "I have so many questions."
On the pitch, Sporting secured their victory through a brace from Luis Suarez, with Daniel Braganca adding a third in stoppage time.
